Story
Raider was rescued from a shelter at 2 years old. We believe his previous owner abused and neglected him. He was very thin and skittish. He is now 10 years old and is very healthy and energetic. He is still nervous sometimes but overall, a happy, sweet, gentle and cuddly dog. He will shape shift himself into the smallest spaces to be near and cuddle. He loves to go on walks and is leash trained but he prefers a leisurely walk with lots of time to stop and sniff the roses. Raider is a smart and observant dog. He has learned cool tricks over the years, like holding a French fry on his nose and waiting before taking a bite. He does have a dog best friend that is very attached to, Bloo, who we would love to keep together. We believe they may have a bit of separation anxiety from each other.

Story
Shannon is a young athletic Rottweiler/ Pointer mix looking for her forever family! She has a beautiful coat, and an athletic build! Shannon is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 55lbs. She is dog friendly, and very playful. Shannon is working on her house training, crate training, and is learning her basic commands. She has a sweet and friendly personality. This deserving girl was picked up as a stray, then ended up at Walton Animal Control. She soon came down with a respiratory illness. BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her, and she is now fully healthy and vetted, and ready for her forever family. Shannon has a medium energy level, and would benefit from a family who will provide her basic training and regular exercise. She can jump very high, and will need a tall privacy fenced yard, and owners who will keep an eye on this mischievous girl. Shannon would likely excel with agility training! Since she still needs to fine tune her manners, no small kids for this girl. If you&#39re interested in adopting Shannon, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.March 3, 2025, 3:54 pm

Story
Bomber is a two-year-old Rottweiler, raised in a house with three boys that love on him, climb all over him and playwith him. He's super sweet and has gotten along great with my parents dog but we just haven't had time to bring him around other dogs that much. He's obedient, well trained to come, heal, sit, stay and wait for his food for the command to eat. We simply don't have the time to give him the life we feel he deserves and we want to make sure he goes to a loving owner/ family that has more time to devote to him.

I got Remy from the shelter about 7 months ago. I wanted a friend for my current dog but I am unable to take care of both. She’s really sweet. She loves to cuddle and be pet. She loves anybody she meets. She plays well with other dogs but would rather be an only child.
