Story
Meet Ryder, a charming 1-year-old male Rottweiler weighing in at 58 lbs. Ryder found himself in the shelter on 11/28/23 as a lost boy, and unfortunately, no one came forward to reclaim him. Despite his initial misfortune, Ryder has proven to be a sweetheart with a calm yet playful demeanor. He quickly captures hearts with his adorable face and has mastered basic commands like sitting and staying. Currently residing in Run #50, Ryder is eagerly awaiting a forever home. Although he hasn't been neutered and microchipped yet, these procedures will be taken care of before adoption. Ryder is up to date on vaccines, and a heartworm test will be conducted to ensure he is in optimal health. If you're ready to welcome a lovable companion into your life, consider bringing Ryder into your home. To inquire about Ryder and potentially make him a part of your family, please reference his ID #652099. Your decision to adopt will not only change his life but will undoubtedly bring joy and companionship to yours. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Story
Could Mitsy be any more beautiful? She was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 11/12. Mitsy is 3 years old and weighs in at 65 pounds. She is a sweet girl that loves to be loved on. She is calm and quiet. She knows to sit when asked. She is a perfect lady on the leash. Sadly Mitsy is heart worm positive. However, dogs who are treated for heart worms usually go on to live long and healthy lives; ask your vet about treatment options. Does this precious girl pull at your heart strings? Ask for ID# 650697 Run 16. She is current on vaccines and spayed and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Story
I received Draco from my son who had to downsize. He wanted him in a good home. I have been recently diagnosed with a serious illness. I can no longer care for him. Draco is 2 yrs old. He is utd on all vaccines and neutered. He is a smart and sweet boy. He is very protective of his people and space. He is teachable. We are going through a training course on basic manners. Later it will advance. He is high energy and loves to play. He cam become aggressive when dealing with unfamiliar faces and places. He just needs reassuring that he and his people are ok. He has not been around other pets or children. I am slowly introducing him to family. He really is a sweet boy that just needs a loving and patient home.

Story
Everly waqs born Mar 2019 and is a friendly, affectionate Boxer/Bulldog mix. She is a sweet, curious, playful girl who loves a soft bed, enjoys close physical contact with her humans, and likes to hold your hand or arm with her paw! She is a high energy girl who is progressing with her leash manners, has moments of running around the yard or in the house bounding on furniture, but is mostly a calm sweetheart who likes to curl up on the bed, couch, or dog bed to snooze. She likes other dogs, so we think she&#39ll do best in a home with a fenced yard and another dog for company. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped.December 3, 2023, 11:02 pm

Story
Barnaby is a happy and loving mastiff mix, born in April 2021, weighing 75lbs. This big guy has the sweetest face and is just a total love bug! Barnaby has a calm demeanor and enjoys being hugged and loved on by everyone. He is a lower energy boy and has wonderful leash manners - he walks slow and doesn&#39t pull at all! He is dog friendly, and although he has not been around kids just yet, his foster thinks he would love kids as well. Barnaby was a stray in Rockdale County and was roaming the area for months before he was finally caught and taken to animal control. Barnaby would love a calm home, with or without another dog, where he will get the love and attention that he deserves! He does have separation anxiety and likes to be close to his people, so someone that works from home or is home primarily will be ideal. Barnaby was treated for Heartworms and has recently had part of his tail amputated due to &#34happy tail&#34. For more information about this sweet boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.December 3, 2023, 11:02 pm

Story
Tiggs is a goofy and sweet Boxer/Pitbull Mix! He was born Feb 2023 and will likely be a medium sized dog weighing around 50-6olbs when fully grown. This young boy previously lived outside, but he is enjoying being loved and living inside with a family! He is currently working on his crate and house training. Tiggs enjoys going for car rides, has good leash manners, and is learning his basic commands. This youngster has a medium energy level - he LOVES to play with his toys and his doggy foster sister, then he enjoys a long nap! Tiggs can still be timid and skittish at times so he will need a family that will continue building his confidence and trust. Once he gets to know you, he shows off his goofy and loving personality! He&#39s dog friendly and would do well with another confident and friendly pup who can show him the ropes in his forever home. He is great with all people, but since he can be nervous at times a home with older children would be best. This adorable boy will make a wonderful addition to a family. Tiggs is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Tiggs, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area.
