When it comes to play&#44 he loves squeaky toys&#44 fetch&#44 running outside&#44 and especially walks and runs where he can sniff and explore.<br/><br/>He has a calm&#44 affectionate temperament and does great with company-both men and women. Hes a total cuddle bug who thinks hes lap-sized. If theres even a chance he can curl up in your lap while youre working&#44 hell take it. Otherwise&#44 hes happy laying right beside you.<br/> Hes fully potty trained with no accidents and is not destructive at all. This beautiful Rottie girl is Junie! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 1/7, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Junie is now in need of a hero to adopt/rescue her. You see, Junie tested positive for heartworms, and when the shelter is at capacity the dogs with medical issues are at risk. With proper treatment and care, Junie can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives treatment. The volunteers describe Junie as very sweet though initially a little shy. Once she warms up and trusts you she will lean into you for affection and belly rubs! She knows several commands including sit, down, and stay. Junie is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 71 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and has been spayed. She will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet her in kennel 878; her ID # is 16205. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
