Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there, I’m Dalilah! I’m a 64-pound Boxer mix, professional squirrel chaser, and part-time nap enthusiast. My puppies have all been adopted (you’re welcome, world), and now it’s my turn for a forever home! ⨠When I’m not running off squirrels and bunnies like the neighborhood security guard ï¸, I’m usually lounging around looking adorable. I’m fully potty trained — zero accidents, 100% good girl. â I love walks, tennis balls, and kids (especially the ones with snacks). I might borrow a stuffed animal or two… purely for emotional support, of course. Cats? Hard pass. They look suspiciously like bunnies, and I take my duties seriously. Car rides aren’t my fave — I prefer a cozy crate where I can grumble quietly about the traffic. Oh, and fun fact: I’m a surprisingly good swimmer! ‍âï¸ (Baywatch who?) I get along with most dogs and promise to bring love, laughter, and a little chaos to your life — in the best way possible. So come on — take a chance on your new favorite girl! Apply at projecthopearf.org before I chase my next squirrel! *Please note: Project Hope does not perform DNA testing on our rescue dogs. Breed designations are educated guesses based on appearance, traits, and parent history where available. Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Linus is the sweetest boy with an absolutely wonderful temperament! We had the pleasure of having him stay with us for the weekend, and he quickly won all of our hearts. He is friendly, affectionate, and just an all-around easygoing dog. Linus did great with our children and loved being part of the family. We even took him along to our son’s baseball game, and he handled all the activity, people, and excitement like a champ. He truly just loves being wherever his people are. He also did wonderfully with our other dogs and loved having a furry friend to play with. Linus listens well, knows how to sit, and is a very well-behaved boy. He enjoys meeting new people, loves car rides, and is happiest when he gets to be included in the fun. Linus has such a gentle, loving personality and would make a wonderful addition to just about any family. He’s the kind of dog who makes you wonder how someone could ever let him go. Please note: Project Hope does not perform DNA testing on our rescue dogs. She was happy to hang out, play, explore, and then come back inside for some cuddles. She loves going walks but could use work on not pulling. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please complete an application directly on our website, www.hoofwoofmeow.org - not through a 3rd party service. ** Meet Moxie. Moxie is an approximately 8 year old, boxer mix. There is nothing more important to Moxie than being with people. She wants all the attention, love and belly rubs one can offer. Emphasis on the belly rubs! Moxie loves being outside and is always up for a walk. Moxie would do best in a home with a fence as she enjoys laying outside in the warm weather. Moxie will go in a crate and she is also okay being left out as well. She currently sleeps with her foster parents in bed. Moxie would do best with not being left alone for long lengths of time. She’s misses you too much when you’re gone. She’s a vocal girl that loves to alert you to people walking outside while she watches at the front door. Moxie has been good with kids, but isn’t particularly good at understand her power when she runs and plays. Because of this she will be best with older kids. Moxie is dog selective, but does have a few dog friends she gets along with. A meet and greet will take place with any potential dog siblings. Moxie’s adoption fee is $175. Mango is a 6-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix weighing in at 77 pounds of pure sweetness. This gentle boy has a calm, easygoing nature and absolutely loves being around people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily stay by your side, soaking up affection and enjoying the simple moments. Mango seems to do well around other dogs and carries himself with a soft, friendly demeanor. One of his most endearing features is his adorable head tilt, a result of a past ear infection—it just adds to his charm and makes him even more unforgettable. As a senior, Mango is past the puppy chaos and ready to settle into a loving home where he can relax, be cherished, and give plenty of love in return. Senior dogs like Mango have so much heart to give and are often the most loyal companions. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, and devoted friend, Mango might be the perfect match. Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Quinney and I am the sweetest 4 month old puppy. I have been learning a lot with my foster parents and have been loving every minute. I was a little nervous of loud noises and strange things like Halloween decorations at first, but have been very brave and learned life isn’t that scary and is a lot of fun. I learned to love cars (I’ll get in and out all by myself) and was able to calmly enjoy taking in the sights and sounds of a football game. Working on all the usual puppy things and did especially well at bath time and getting my nails done. I love to play with my foster sister and am great with other dogs. I especially love playing tug, with a flirt pole or anything that lets me interact directly with adults or kids. I’m less interested in playing alone and like to share. After play time, I love nothing more than snuggling in with my foster sister/parents. I even make sure to leave space on the bed for anyone who wants to join me. I am excited to keep learning and while these foster people are great, I cannot wait to meet my forever person or family!
