Breed: German Shepherd Mix Age: ~ just over 1 year old (Born March 25, 2024) Weight: ~60 lbs Sex: Female (Spayed) Microchipped & Fully Vaccinated Bonnie is a sweet, energetic, and affectionate young German Shepherd mix looking for a loving forever home. She came into our care after her original owner's mother—who had been watching over her—developed health issues and could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, her current caretaker works long hours and isn't able to provide the time and exercise Bonnie deserves. This bright pup is crate trained and enjoys spending time outside in the yard. While she’s not fully housebroken yet, she’s young and eager to learn with some consistent training and patience. Bonnie already knows basic commands like “sit” and “give paw,” and she absolutely loves going on walks and being around people. Bonnie has done well around other dogs and cats, and while she hasn’t been around children yet, her friendly nature suggests she’d likely do great with respectful, supervised introductions. She's up-to-date on all her vaccinations, is spayed, microchipped, and currently on heartworm prevention. All medical care was provided through the Rockwall Animal Shelter.
