I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I get comfortable, I absolutely love attention. I’m affectionate, gentle, well-behaved, and enjoy spending time with my people. I know how to sit, I’ll sometimes shake, and I walk nicely beside you on a leash. I’m always happy to play when the mood strikes, too. I get along well with other dogs and kids. We’re still unsure how I’ll do with cats since I haven’t been tested with them yet. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who will happily soak up your love and be by your side, I’d love to meet you.

Wren is a happy-go-lucky boxer. Loving pretty much everything and everyone this sweet girl loves cacoons and dens, hanging out with her buddies (people and dogs), and eating snacks (who doesn't?). She is constant need of attention, but much like the boxer she is, she is very independant.  Wren was in a home, the owner was no longer capable of giving Wren the love and attention she needed. When she arrived here she sprinted around the yard, so excited to run around. She goes out with one buddy at the moment but we expect she does well with most dogs. Previous owner said she does well with dogs, cats, and children. We have not seen her around cats, but we know she does well with little kids.  She is house trained, does well on leash, and is attentive to people. She would do well in homes where she can get attention and plenty of time to be mentally stimulated or room to run!   ##1666551##

She's a happy, affectionate girl who loves her rope toys and any chance to play or go for a walk. She knows sit (especially when treats are involved!) and has a fun, upbeat personality that makes her easy to love. Nova gets along wonderfully with the basset hound in her home and does well with the right dog personalities. She's cuddly, playful, smart, and full of joy. Nova Scarlet will be an amazing companion for anyone looking for a loving, fun, snuggly girl. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.
