Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chester! Chester’s story started on the streets, where he was found running around on his own until a kind family took him in and helped him get the care he needed.  He was covered in fleas and suffered a little from flea dermatitis, where he had no fur. Now, this handsome boy is ready to find a forever home of his own! Chester can be a little vocal when meeting new people and may bark at first, but once he gets to know you, his loving personality shines through. He’s an affectionate dog who enjoys attention and will happily jump up to say hello. Chester loves playing with his toys, enjoys spending time with his people, and gets along well with other dogs. If you’re looking for a fun, friendly companion with lots of love to give, Chester may be the perfect match for your family. Chester is neutered, 4DX negative, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. His adoption fee is $400. To apply to adopt Chester, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Chester is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 26, 2026, 4:06 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Quinn! Quinn's story is one of resilience, healing, and unconditional love. She was found abandoned on the streets alongside her sister in heartbreaking condition. Severely neglected, Quinn was covered in painful mats, suffering from extensive hair loss caused by poor nutrition and flea infestation, and struggling with serious eye issues that had gone untreated for far too long. Since coming into rescue, Quinn has received extensive veterinary care and has been under the supervision of a local veterinary ophthalmology specialist. After numerous tests, treatments, and medications, we now know that Quinn has severe chronic dry eye, a condition common in her breed. Unfortunately, this has resulted in significant scarring of both corneas. The good news is that Quinn's right eye is responding well to treatment, and with lifelong medical management, her vision can likely be preserved. Her left eye has faced additional challenges, including a corneal ulcer and infection, but after completing her course of antibiotics and ongoing care, she has shown remarkable improvement. Despite everything she has endured, Quinn remains one of the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet. She is calm, gentle, affectionate, and happiest when curled up in your lap. Quinn is not a barker, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has an easygoing, laid-back personality that makes her a joy to have around. Quinn is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention and Bravecto flea and tick prevention. We have not yet tested Quinn with cats or children, so those situations are currently unknown. Adoption Fee: $400 To apply for Quinn, please visit www.adoggie4you.org. Quinn is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Story
**Meelo is currently in foster care, if you`re interested in meeting him, please fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet and we will be in touch to schedule an appointment.Meelo is a charming little pup with a big personality and an even bigger future ahead of him. When he first arrived in foster care, he was unsure and overwhelmed — but this boy has blossomed beautifully. His foster describes him as “a little star” with tons of personality already shining through.Personality & TemperamentMeelo is attentive, curious, and wonderfully engaged with his people. He offers great eye contact and looks to his humans for guidance, which makes training fun and rewarding. He loves being near his people, but he’s not a snuggler — affection is strictly on his terms. He’ll happily lay next to you, but he’s not a lap dog and doesn’t enjoy being handled excessively. He’ll thrive with a family who respects his boundaries. He enjoys toys, chews, and especially playing fetch, but he’s also a champion napper who settles beautifully in his crate.Training & SkillsMeelo is a smart cookie and already has a solid start:House trained (only two accidents early on)Sleeps through the night in his crateRides well in the carKnows “sit” and waits at doorsWorking on “down”Learning leash skills — confident in the yard but still nervous on walksPuppy mouthing is present but easily redirected to chewsHe’s losing his baby teeth, so he currently prefers soft foods like pâté and isn’t very food-motivated, though he will take treats.Social SkillsMeelo enjoys playing with respectful dogs and has been more relaxed around unfamiliar people as he gains confidence. He hasn’t been tested with children or cats yet. His foster believes he’d do best with older kids who understand puppy boundaries and won’t overwhelm him.Ideal HomeMeelo is looking for a patient, low-key home that understands he’s still a puppy learning the world. He’s not suited for a high-excitement household or one that expects a cuddly lap dog. Instead, he’ll thrive with people who appreciate his independent streak, enjoy training, and can help him continue building confidence.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Tawny! Please thoroughly read my bio. Tawny's life didn't start out easy. She and her sister were found living on the streets in heartbreaking, neglected condition. Despite everything she's been through, Tawny has remained an incredibly sweet, gentle dog. She is truly the definition of a perfect companion—house-trained, great in the car, easy on a leash, calm, quiet, and wonderful with people, kids, and other dogs. Tawny loves being close to her people and is happiest curled up in a comfy spot. Her only flaw? She does not like cats and will absolutely chase them, so she needs a cat-free home. Tawny is currently being treated for Chagas disease. She has had extensive veterinary testing, including comprehensive bloodwork and an echocardiogram, with results showing everything within normal limits. She does have a Grade III/VI heart murmur and recently developed focal seizures, both of which are being managed with veterinary care and medication. Tawny is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. The adoption fee for Tawny is $450. To apply, please visit www.adoggie4you.org. Tawny is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Oregon, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee.
