Story
Our Daphne is a fun mixed pup - Daphne had a DNA test and is over 50% Shihtzu and Pomeranian, with an exotic mix of Pug, Pekinese and Min Pinscher! All to say she is 100% adorable! She has come a long way from the fearful dog that arrived in our care - But we know that the BEST things in LIFE are worth waiting for - like this amazing girl! Overcoming darkness and fear...Daphne is a true survivor. Abandoned for days in a filthy crate in the Auburn area, she came to us with deep emotional scars and fear of trusting humans. Over time with patience and freedom from fear Daphne has truly blossomed into a loving, faithful and joyous member of her foster's household. This affectionate little lady is not only great on a leash but also loves to play fetch! She loves to ride in the car and grab a puppacino on the way! Daphne will be adopted to ADULT ONLY homes - due to how she was treated in the past - this is non negotiable. Preference will be for Daphne to go to a home with a fenced yard. Daphne is Spayed, had a complete Dental, along with Microchip and updated vaccinations, she is 100% healthy and ready for her forever home!!

Story
Meet Laurent – an incredibly smart, sweet, and outgoing pup who’s ready to bring joy to his forever family! From the moment he arrived at his foster home, Laurent impressed everyone by learning to use the potty pad on his very first day. He’s a fast learner with a gentle, fun-loving personality. Laurent loves to play with other dogs and is often the one to initiate playtime with his foster brother, Watson. He rarely barks—only to announce when he’s pooping! He sleeps well through the night, usually near his crate, and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to have around. Laurent is food motivated, good with children, travels well in the car, and is eager to please. He listens when told to settle or “go to crate,” and transitions quickly from excitement to calm. He’s the kind of dog that adapts easily and would thrive either with a canine sibling or as a solo pup soaking up all the love. This brilliant little boy is truly one-of-a-kind and will make a wonderful addition to any home! ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

Story
Meet Phillipe – The Happiest Little Gentleman! Looking for a pint-sized pup with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging? Meet Phillipe, a 1-year-old Shih Tzu who greets every day—and every person—with uncontainable excitement and pure love. Phillipe is currently in a foster home where he’s blossomed into a snuggly, affectionate, and playful companion. He adores his people and shows it with enthusiastic greetings, full-body wiggles, and gentle kisses. When his foster mom walks through the door, Phillipe lights up the room like it’s the best moment of his day (because to him—it is!). He’s great with other dogs and has fit right in with his foster siblings, joining in on cuddle piles, giving sweet doggy hugs, and learning the art of fetch (he’s still more of a cheerleader than a retriever, but he’s having fun trying!). Phillipe is crate trained, doing wonderfully with house training, and is eager to please. He loves soft blankets, belly rubs, and following you from room to room just to be close. He’s the perfect mix of spunky and snuggly, and his gentle spirit makes him a joy to be around. Whether you’re curled up on the couch or heading out for a walk, Phillipe is ready to be your loyal little sidekick. Ready to give Phillipe the forever home he deserves? Apply today and come meet this joyful, loving boy—you’ll fall in love the moment you see his wagging tail and sparkling eyes! ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Story
Meet Brando! Brando is a sweet and affectionate pup who quickly bonds with his people and showers everyone—kids and adults alike—with love. He’s a big fan of walks and gets so excited when he sees his leash come out! Brando has a playful side too—he adores his lamb toy and tennis balls. He sleeps soundly in his crate through the night without a peep. While he’s still working on his separation anxiety, he’s making great progress with basic obedience and already knows how to sit! He’s currently learning to ring a bell to go potty and mastering “stay.” Brando will thrive with someone who can continue his training and give him the companionship he craves.

Story
Meet Lara💗 Lara is a super calm small girly. She loves humans and gets along well with children, but is not really interested in dog friends. She’s super cuddly and calm, so the house size wouldn’t matter much. She loves going for a short walk and is trained for housebreaking, so it is essential for you to take her for a walk at least two times a day. She’s also indifferent to dogs or humans she meet outside, but wants to lead the walk herself. She sheds a bit - not a lot; mediate level, and is also really good at grooming, so it wouldn’t be a big worry. However, she doesn’t really prefer long car trips – she doesn’t eat in cars and is a bit afraid of being in them at the first time. She is not kennel trained, but does sleep in her own bed. She also loves to cuddle on human bed and sofa! Allergy/health issues: No allergy or health issues yet found. *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Our team will carefully consider each of your applications to find the perfect forever homes for our dogs. *As all of our dogs are currently in South Korea, there will be an adoption fee of 700USD + customs fee (if applicable) for each dog.
