My name is Parsnip from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 2 year old male Shih Tzu. I am about 7 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home. I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea. I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in. I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected. Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten. I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me. I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend. I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs. I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection! On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup. My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care. We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs. Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet. Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization. Boudreaux is a purebred shih tzu I purchased in May of 2021 from a breeder that I carefully vetted. When he is alone and awake with people he’s kind, thoughtful, patient and well behaved. Unfortunately, when he’s around other animals all of these incredible traits go out the window. We tried working with multiple trainers, and he’s been on medications for anxiety and interspecies aggression, and unfortunately none of these has worked. He was needed as a seizure alert dog, and although he was good at that task: the stress he caused the rest of the animals and himself wasn’t acceptable. I can't state enough that he should not be in a household with other cats, dogs, or with children. He chases and gets incredibly aggressive around animals (in a way he doesn’t get around adult people) and it’s not healthy or safe for him or the other animals involved. As kind as he can be with people (genuine sweetheart) it’s like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with other animals.

This little playful sweetheart lost his human recently, and now needs a new home of his own! Copper is soft, cuddly and likes a romp in the yard. Copper lives with many other dogs currently and we feel he would do well in a multi dog home or as your one and only. Copper is a sweet boy, loves to be pet and needs a person to give him the attention he so deserves. Copper also needs to lose a few pounds to be in his best health. Quality food and regular exercise will go along way with Copper. Copper is neutered and will be brought current on vaccinations and receive a dental as a part of his adoption donation.
