Alexis is a 4 month old sweet girl currently weighing 22 lbs. She has mastered potty and kennel training and loves playing with toys. Alexis loves to nap and have her down time. She would do great in a home with or without a canine friend and is good with kids and feline friends. Per Wisdom Panel she is mainly 56% Standard Poodle/23% Boxer/11% American Pit Bull Terrier. If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2666910##

Kensi is a new arrival from a local shelter. She was on the Code red List because she was so scared and deemed "unadoptable". She is about a year old and weighs about 35 lbs. She was frightened at first but warms up quickly. She had to be shaved because she was a matted to the bone. She is really adorable. Meet Noodle! He is a tall, slim, handsome guy who is ready for his forever home. He was out looking for help (or a new home) one day when he came across a couple who helped him find his owners. When the owners were not found, his helpers got him into rescue. While TSBR generally does not have DNA results for dogs in the program, Noodles’ friends wanted to know what makes up this handsome boy. 72 % Poodle (Medium and Standard) 24 % Golden Retriever 3 % Poodle (Toy and Miniature) 1 % American Cocker Spaniel What a great testament to his fantastic personality! This playful, loving boy is fully vetted and ready to find his new home. Noodle loves all the people he meets. He knows sit, shake, down, and place, and is making good progress on leash training and can heel. He is house-trained and uses a dog door. Noodle sleeps quietly in either his kennel or on a dog bed by his foster’s bed. He does not get up on the furniture or ask to do so, but could probably be convinced if you would like this! Noodle is loved at the vet and great at the groomers. He loves car rides and will lie quietly on a pillow in the back seat. Noodle does not jump on people or counter surf. He also is not a barker. He is a trusted member of his foster family and has full range of the house when his fosters are away. This energetic boy loves to play with other dogs. He is considerate of older and smaller dogs as well. He does play energetically with dogs his own age and size… his foster sister taught him that. Recently, Noodle has shown interest in stuffed toys and a large ball he loves to chase and carry.
