I'm shy at first but will warm up quickly if you give me some yummy chicken. Cars and new sounds can be a little scary for me too, so I'll need someone to help introduce me to new things and show me all the great things in life! My favorite thing to do is play soccer - kick the ball for me and watch me (and my ears) bounce with excitement! I also love sniffing and exploring the trails here at FOHA. Because I'm still learning how to be confident in a world of uncertainty, I will do best in a home without children. Mack is a young, male Treeing Walker Coonhound estimated to be around 2 years old, and he’s a big, handsome guy at about 70 pounds. Athletic, strong, and strikingly good-looking, Mack definitely turns heads — but it’s his heart that really steals the show. Out of his kennel, Big Mack quickly turns into a Big Marshmallow. He’s a gentle giant who loves being close to his people and soaking up affection. Mack is incredibly sweet, people-friendly, and dog-friendly, and it’s clear he’s truly craving love and connection. Those wet, sloppy kisses say it all — this boy just wants to be loved. Mack may pull a bit when first coming out of his kennel, but he settles nicely and enjoys being with you. Brody is a big, lean boy at about 65 pounds, with a beautiful buff-colored coat that really shows off his houndy good looks. He can be a little revved up in his kennel, but once he’s out and settled, his true personality shines. In our photo area, Brody relaxed quickly and made it clear that what he wants most is love—lots of it. He is a friendly, affectionate “leaner” who loves to press in close and soak up attention. Brody is very people-centered, enjoys being around his humans, and is both dog and people friendly. He thrives on interaction and would love a home where he can be included as part of the family.
