We have a pair of sisters (I'm the cute one!) that are looking for our fur-ever homes. Sweet, cute as a button and within just a short time tangled in your heart! My name is Janet and I'm around 6 months old. I'm in search of that wonderful thing I keep hearing about...a loving home and family. I'm at that great age where I'm your lil sponge, soaking up...everything. I'd a tad bit on the shy side until I get to know you, then look out, I'll show my true silly adorable side. I'm 30ish lbs and should be in the 40ish lb range when I get myself fully growed up. What a pawesome size to experience all those fabulous adventures we can go on. If it's a neighborhood stroll, let me go get my leash. If its a walk to the local outdoor cafe, could I please have a puppaccino? If it's a hiking trip, I'll have my backpack ready in no time. If it's to go camping, I sure don't mind sleeping on the ground if you don't. If it's being a jogging pawtner, I'll be by your side cheering you on. I'm a happy happy girl with whatever we're doing as long as we do it together!! At my age, I do need daily exercise and playtime but with those in I should do great in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. My namesake is best known for her comedic timing and hysterical sense of humor!! Foster Mom says that i am the funniest dog that she has ever met!! I am outgoing and fun loving!! My favorite past times are going for walks, climbing trees, and sitting on foster Mom's lap for snuggles ( she laughs and tells me that I am not a lap dog...Hahaha..fooled her..yes I am a lap dog...just look where I am sitting...on her lap!!:) I am also extremely intelligent and pick up on "human speak" very quickly. I have a great vocabulary of understanding!! At 2 years young, I have reached my adult weight of 35 lbs of svelteness (I think I just invented a new word!!) I am trim and athletic and will do best in an active home where I can hike and play with my new human (s)!! Of course, it goes without saying, I am completely house trained and crate trained. I get along great with other dogs and have an innate understanding of "dog language"! I know when I can play with a dog and when I need to roll on my back and show submissiveness (this is a fake, as I am not really submissive, but know how to play the game in order to not rock the boat!) But, I am not at all alpha, either. I just want to be happy, play, and co exist. I walk well on the leash( although Foster Mom usually walks me off leash) and I know to come when called. I am the Court Jester of the ranch and always have a smile on my face. However, I am protective of the ranch as well and always bark to let my Foster Family know if someone arrives or comes into our space. I am not aggressive, just protective. My ancestry is from the "Survivor Dogs" of the Guatemalan Volcano,Pakaya. My ancestors had to be fleet of foot and clever in order to survive, and I certainly inherited those traits. She is a very active and affectionate dog, she loves to go for a walk on a leash and discover new places, she is usually invaded when she meets a new dog, and she jumps on people with tremendous joy, she is very sociable and obedient, but when she plays she usually behaves like puppy, he loves balls, cloth toys, rope toys, and he really likes to play with puppies. She was abandoned the day she had her 12 puppies, the "owner" went to throw the babies on the hill while June desperately looked for them where she thought her home was, the person who asked us for support to give her shelter and care told us that She went for her puppies, and they were in a box, under the sun, and there were 4 dead puppies in a bag, together with her 8 brothers, the girl took them down to her house so that June was with them, but when we arrived by they only had 5 puppies alive since he brought them back up the hill. Also like Tasha, I have had a rrruff life before now and am happy to start anew. I have a little bit of a funny appearance. I have my tiny ears, looong legs, and my eyes sometimes go out to the sides. It's really hard to know what breeds I may be mixed with. All I know is that I'm super sweet and loving but have no problem being feisty too. I'm still a pup after all! I love to wrestle with the other dogs in the house and we get along great, though I do have to eat separately. I get barky when I have food because I feel the need to protect it! My creamy yellow over white coat is just like popcorn covered in delicious butter, hence the name Popcorn. At my young age popping around exploring everywhere is one of my favoritest things to do and with my buttery coating I'm much more delectable than your plain ole white popcorn pup!! I have some black color around my one eye but that's just where some of my kernels got stuck too close to the heat for too long!!! At around 8 months old I'm still very much a puppy. I'm still a little spongy...soaking up everything, and am at that great age where I'd make a great candidate for some obedience classes or maybe even some fun ones like agility! I'm game to give them all a try if you want to try them with me! I am super sweet, active and playful. I love people both tall and small and I'm good with other dogs, although we're not sure if I've ever met a cat. I would do great with another playful sibling of either the 2 or 4 legged variety or be just as happy getting all your attention as your one and only. Did you also know that I'm about at my adult weight of 45-50ish lbs and will be at a great size to share in all your adventures. I'd make a great neighborhood stroll taking pawtner, hiking/camping cohort and/or a river excursion companion. You want to do it, I'll be right there to try it out too! And the bestest part is when we're done having all our fun we get to have cuddle time! And at that pawfect mediumish size, I'm not too big to fit those cuddles in!! As with your typical pup, I'm playful and curious about everything. I'll need daily exercise and playtime, but with that in I should do great in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. This lil spongey stud muffin is ready for my very own home, could I possibly have YOU as my family?!!
