Meet Pearl! Pearl is a stunning, mellow 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix. She's calm and sweet, and loves all people. She's been around dogs of all ages and sizes, and does great. She gets grumpy around the high energy puppies in the house though, so she'd do better as an only dog, or with a lower energy friend. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Viserys!Hello, I'm Viserys! I've had quite the journey in my young life. You see, I was heartworm positive, but don't worry, I've gone through treatment and I'm feeling much better now. It's been tough, and I'm still learning to trust and love humans fully, so I'll need someone with lots of patience to help me along the way.Despite my past, I'm a very smart girl! I love to learn new things and explore the world around me. One of my favorite things to do is play with other dogs. I'm very social and enjoy their company, but it's best to take things slow when introducing me to new doggy friends. Oh and I need a tall fence (6 foot), otherwise I like to take myself out for a walk around the neighborhood. I also have a special story to share-I used to be a mom! But now, it's my turn to find a loving and caring forever home. I dream of a place where I can feel safe, loved, and cherished. If you're willing to be patient and kind, I promise to be your loyal and loving companion. Let's create beautiful memories together and embark on an exciting journey of love and trust! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Rickon! A 3 year old neutered Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as his fluffy frame. Fully potty trained and incredibly friendly, he gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, adults, and kids, though he's yet to meet a cat. Rickon thrives on companionship, loving nothing more than walks and cozying up on the couch for sports days. While he enjoys his meals in peace away from other dogs, Rickon takes treats gently, albeit with a bit of bowl-guarding. Currently, he's learning the ropes of nail trimming, mistaking it for play due to his playful nature. Despite his large size, he manages a minor case of Patellar Luxation with medication as needed for comfort.Rickon is a gentle giant looking for a home where he can share endless love, cuddles, and the simple joys of life. If you're seeking a loyal and affectionate companion, Rickon could be the perfect addition to your family. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Winston is a sweet lovable dog. Wants to be petted all day long. He can be a lazy indoor pup and a high energy dog when you play with him of even take him outside. He’s typical dog when it comes to hating the mailman. He is aggressive with other dogs if they are not slowly introduced. The issue of me taking care of him became a problem once I had started college post-Covid. Since I started college the coronavirus had made me do my studies at home for the first two years of college. But by the time my junior year came up I found myself struggling to watch and take of him due to my studies and busy school schedule. But I was able to convince my family to just watch him until I finish school. It has only been a year but my family has been annoyed with taking care of a dog they don’t even care about. And I’ve been struggling to find him a new home because I can’t take him until another year and a half due to my 5 year program. So I believe the best solution is to find him a better home.

Story
Meet Franklin! Franklin is a 7 year old, 95 pound, Anatolian Shepherd Mix. He was rescued in the nick of time from the euthanasia list in July 2022 and is ready for his forever home and a family of his own.We unfortunately know little of his past, as he was found as a stray, but he certainly does not act like a senior. Franklin is truly a fun-loving guy. He LOVES to play with other dogs and gets along with everyone, but can come off a little strong with his playful energy. He is a big goofball and does not have a mean bone in his body, but he would probably do best with older kids just due to his size. He is a very sweet guy and loves to scope out and curl up in the comfiest of spots. He is a big fan of toys, chews, and bones, but I recommend the tougher-duty ones, as he has been known to do a number on plush toys.Franklin is potty-trained and crate-trained. We crate him overnight and while we are not home, and he is great about going right into his crate when told. He does well on a leash. He has not gotten out much recently, but I am sure he would appreciate some more adventures. He has been around and done well with horses. Franklin still has so much love to give and is very deserving of the best forever home!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Maggie! Maggie is a 2 yr old Anatolian weighing 80 lbs. She had a rough start in life. She was ran over at 3 months old and she's had major surgeries to fix her leg. Although Maggie has been in leg casts most of her early life she continues to have a happy and loving disposition. She's very independent, easygoing & a social butterfly. She loves all people, big or small, and she gets along with all animals. Nothing stops Maggie from enjoying life. Because of her surgeries she should be restricted from exercise. You just have to convince her of that! Maggie loves to smell new people (she knows no stranger) but she's not a licker. Everywhere she goes she gets lots of attention and Maggie loves it! She would be best suited in an environment with adults & children of all ages but preferably live with only 1 or two dogs. Although she gets along with all dogs, the more dogs at home, the more she's enticed to run with the pack which should be avoided due to her post surgeries. When left alone, she can be crated, but prefers to sleep on the floor while owners are away. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Meet Robert! The epitome of chill! This 4 month old Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix is as calm as they come. He strolls like a pro on a leash, almost has potty training down to a science, and isn't too keen on crates. His favorite pastime? Lounging next to his human, whether it's a guy or gal. Robert's not one to make a racket; in fact, he rarely barks. Plus, he's a social butterfly, getting along famously with both dogs and cats. He's already mingled with kids of all ages and aced the test. The most laid-back puppy you'll ever meet, Robert adores his walks and goes bananas for treats, making him a breeze to train! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step.
