Story
Meet Guinn! Foster or Foster to Adopt Needed!Guinn is a beautiful 4-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a soft heart and a playful spirit just waiting to shine. She spent much of her life fending for herself, and she’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.Guinn is fully vetted and is currently heartworm positive, and still needs to undergo treatment. She will need a calm environment, limited activity and rest while she receives her heartworm treatment. With proper care and support, dogs typically recover very well, and she’ll be well on her way to a healthy future. She’s a shy girl when it comes to people and will need patience and understanding as she builds trust. But where Guinn really lights up is with other dogs. She absolutely loves them! Around canine friends, her playful, joyful personality comes out, and it’s like watching a different dog. Because of this, she would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly dog who can show her the ropes and help her feel more secure.Guinn has a gentle, low-key nature overall, but she enjoys bursts of playtime with her dog buddies and would benefit from a safe space where she can explore and grow at her own pace.Guinn’s ideal home:- Calm and patient environment - At least one friendly, confident dog companion - Foster?adopter experienced with shy or undersocialized dogs - A secure yard for safe play and exploration - Willingness to support her through heartworm treatment and recovery Guinn may not be immediately outgoing with people, but her sweetness is undeniable. With time, consistency, and the comfort of a canine friend, she will continue to come out of her shell and show her true, loving self.If you have room in your heart (and home) for a shy girl who just needs a little extra time, and maybe a playful dog sibling, Guinn could be the perfect addition to your family. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Snowy!Snowy is a 5 year old 50 lb Lab/Great Pyrenees mix that is finally ready to find her forever home! Snowy was rescued after living on the streets for over a year with several other dogs. When she came to Saving Hope she didn’t trust humans and was completely shut down. For the last two months Snowy has been living with her foster and loves being a treasured member of a family.Snowy absolutely needs a home where there is another dog (or two!) She is still working on her confidence so she looks to her foster siblings for guidance. Snowy will also need someone who is patient while she learns a new routine. Snowy is house trained, potty trained, spayed, UTD on all her shots and does not require a crate when left alone…which is good because she is not a fan of them! She would do better in a home with older children that will respect her boundaries while she settles in.Here is what Snowy’s foster has to say about her:Snowy is amazing and I have loved watching her grow. When she opens up, her personality is goofy and playful. She loves running around in the yard with her foster siblings and snuggling up on her bed when she is done. This girl loves treats, playing with toys, chewing on sticks and getting scratches from her humans. These are all new things for her!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Willie! Willie is a 90-pound goofball with a heart as big as he is! This Lab/Anatolian Shepherd mix has the best of both breeds—protective and loyal like an Anatolian, playful and water-loving like a Lab.Willie adores people and is great with children, though due to his size, we recommend a home with kids age 5 and up. He gets along well with other dogs with slow introductions but can be protective of his food and toys around them. He hasn’t been around cats, but we think he’d be okay with them. This big guy loves the outdoors—hiking, walking, camping, and car rides are all on his list of favorites. He’s housebroken, uses a doggy door, and is crate trained. Willie has also worked with a trainer and responds well to commands.True to his Lab side, one of his favorite things is water—he’ll never pass up a chance to splash around! On the Anatolian side, he takes his guarding duties seriously—especially when it comes to keeping coyotes away from his home.Willie’s favorite part of the day? Cuddling with his humans and resting his big head in your lap for some well-earned head rubs. He’s incredibly loyal and loving, and would thrive either as an only dog or with furry siblings. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step.
