Story
Meet Daphne! This beautiful young Great Pyrenees mix came into our program with her brother, Flint, and sister, Wilma, after being dumped along a country road.  She has recently discovered toys and loves to play with them and dig through the toy box. Daphne is slow to warm up but she has come a long way in her loving foster home. She lives with 3 resident dogs and another foster, Biscuit, who is also available for adoption.  Her foster family is working on leash training and crate training. She is not a fan of the crate but she is not a destructive girl so she may not need to be crated anyway.  Daphne has been spayed, heartworm tested and is current on all vaccinations. All she needs now is a loving forever home! Could it be yours??To meet Daphne in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. Story
Otis Is Available For Adoption! This sweet one year old Great Pyrenees mix pup is Otis. He needs a new home due to his current owner’s medical issues. He's a big boy.. 70 lbs & still growing! He's so adorable & smart!! Otis graduated from all his training classes, including a 2 week board-n -train program.👨‍🎓 He learned basic commands & he walks well on a leash. However, Otis is a big pup & he gets very exuberant when he passes other dogs on walks. He's always VERY excited to make new dog friends! Sometimes, he's so excited that he forgets about the formal intro.😳 But after a while, he adjusts & just enjoys their company.❤️🐶 Otis is a charmer & so so cute! He's soft, fluffy & HUGGABLE. He's very loving & he's never shown any aggression toward people or other animals.🩵 Due to his size & young age, he needs an experienced dog handler. Otis enjoys being walked, but he'd also be very happy to play around in a big yard or a farm! He likes water (not really a swimmer, but loves to lie down in a few inches of water to cool off.) He also likes to get in the shower! 🐶🚿 He's an angel on road trips & he loves to explore new places. He can be a velcro dog at times.. he often thinks he's a lap dog. However, he also has an independent side, typical of a guardian breed. Otis has been neutered, microchipped, & he's current on his vaccinations & monthly preventions. He's housetrained & he's not much of a fan of being crated anymore. He's currently located in the Austin area. (Transport can be arranged if needed.) 🛍 Things Otis will be bringing with him to his forever home: approx 3 months of Farmers Dog fresh food, a lg bag of Nula dry food, toys, his brush, & his treats! Come meet him & let him steal your heart. He surely will. There are additional videos & photos of Otis we'd love to share. Just reach out! 615-540-8448 --->please remember to copy-paste-SHARE this post so we can find a forever home for Otis. 🙏❤️ Furever Home Pet Rescue bemyforeverhome.org
