Story
I found Belfor (Bell) in East side Detroit while at work, he was extremely malnourished, weighed around 50 lbs with ribs showing. Took him home, fed him, vet visits showed he had heart worms and other infections from eating garbage and cuts. The plan was to adopt him out right away but he stole my heart he was so sick. As he got better he started off with our full trust. As time went on he lunged and nipped a few people visiting our home and he was found to be very overly protective. He can't be trusted around strangers who come and visit our home but out and about he seems ok. He has been quarantined in our home because of fear he will hurt someone or an animal. Im not a great dog owner just someone who had a big heart for a hurting dog. He needs a better home where someone knows how to handle and take care of such a big dog. He weighs about 100 lbs.

Meet Bojangles! This loving bully mix is just five months old and already the happy go lucky kind of dog that people dream of having. While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Zoe and Rusty were stray dogs running on a highway near Raymond, MS. After owners were unable to be located they were placed up for adoption. Zoe is a very gentle and smart dog. She is very good on a leash and knows the sit and heel commands. Zoe and Rusty seem to be heavily bonded. They are both super sweet dogs. Zoe is more laid back, and Rusty is a typical lab - very playful!! Zoe and Rusty are in Mississippi, and the adoption fee includes transportation to you. We use Rescue Riders, the most reliable transporters on the road. Please respond for an application!

We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha).
