While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Meet Oliver Oliver’s story is one of both heartbreak and hope. He came to us as a tiny puppy, chained up in a backyard, waiting for someone to see his worth. And when that day finally came, he was adopted into a family who loved him deeply. For a year, Oliver had what every dog dreams of — a home, a person to call his own, a place where he was safe. But sometimes, love alone isn’t enough. Oliver struggled to get along with the male dog in the home, and through no fault of his own, he was returned. Now at two and a half years old, this big, handsome American Bulldog mix is back with us, still carrying the same open heart he’s always had, still ready to give his love to someone who will be his forever. Oliver is a total cuddlebug. He wants nothing more than to be near his people, whether that means curling up at your feet, following you from room to room, or leaning into you for comfort and connection. He is silly, sweet, and so full of love — the kind of dog who just wants to be your shadow and your best friend. What Oliver needs is simple: a person or family who believes in him, who will give him the structure and affection he craves. He would thrive as the only dog in the home, but could also do well with a gentle, non-dominant female dog. Above all, he needs someone who will see him for what he is — a loyal, loving soul who’s just waiting for the chance to bloom in the right home. Oliver has already lost so much, but he hasn’t lost his ability to trust, or his hope that the right person is out there. If you give him that chance, he’ll give you his whole heart in return. We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha).
