We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha). If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.   Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.   Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.   MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization.
