Story

Ice is a great tow truck passenger and a great addition to the house, but he would be happier without smaller kiddos in the house due to not understanding he isn't a 10ths dog He would love to be the only dog but will be okay if he isn't as long as you set hard boundaries at all times. He's a very happy go lucky boy. Does attempt to get into the trash can but otherwise is pretty much house trained when someone is home. He's kennel trained, muzzle trained, shock collar and pinch collar trained, and is leash trained with consistent discipline when passing other dogs. He loves his people and other people he doesn't know, will bark at people walking by the house. He loves car rides but windows must be up as he tries chasing the dotted lines on the road. Insanely food and water motivated. Will lay by you all night and all day if allowed. Not much of a toy dog he would prefer to just be near humans or watching out of the windows. He does get skin irritations when rolling around in the grass too long or getting Purina foods. We have done raw meals and dry kibble with him and he loves both equally. Currently lives with 2 adults 1 child (9) 2 dogs and 1 cat. Will follow you all around the house unless he can lay on the couch right by the windows. He has gone running with me, has also gone for runs while I rollerblade (both of which he is leashed and has pinch collar and shock collar on). He dislikes RC cars and anything on wheels that make noise like the vacuum. He will watch movies with you in bed, literally, and will growl to make sure the scary things don't get you through the tv screen.

Story

Maggie is an amazing, 2.5 year old, purebred American Bulldog (with pedigree). She never has accidents, is crate trained (though she hasn’t needed to be in it for about a year), and will sleep/snuggle on the couch about 22 hours a day if you let her. She went through a 3 week training program and will come with prong/E collar. She is great with our young kids, does well with dogs she has been properly introduced to, but has aggression towards dogs she doesn’t know (especially small dogs). She can be stand-offish towards ppl she doesn’t know, but warms up quickly. She has never bitten anyone, but has bitten two small dogs. She needs to go to a home with an experienced owner that can make sure she is controlled at all times when she is outside (more than a 4 foot fence). It breaks our hearts to have to let her go, but she needs a home where she has more space and fewer strange dogs walking around.

He believes:  People are the Best He is well behaved without being crated in the home Definitely a lap dog Zoomies are the best thing ever And his name is totally spot on…he’s definitely a Rhino!  But in the most lovable way possible.  His favorite thing to do is get cuddles and pets, but he can be kinda pushy about it! So…small humans may need Hulk strength to handle his love! Belly rubs are the best! I may look stout (and maybe I am…), but I’m almost a pocket pitty and I don’t throw my weight around like some dogs that share my breed. I was pulled from animal control in Maple Grove, and everybody says that they don’t understand how no one came to get me. Because you see, I am:  Potty trained!  Kennel trained! I walk nicely on a leash, with a great recall! I’m FRIENDLY with every man, woman, & child! I like other dogs & cats! I do fine with the rabbits and goats in my foster home! I ride quietly in the car! I’m cute & quirky & make adorable little snorting noises when I’m excited! I do like to be outside and zooming & sniffing around, but I’m also happy chilling by your side and working on a big bone. I mostly ignore other dogs.I really only like to play with the smaller dogs in my foster home and I’m pretty persistent about it. I sleep in my kennel right now, but that’s mostly because of the other dogs. My foster mom thinks I’d be fine if I was left loose to roam. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey, I’m Surly. I’m a 10 year old English bulldog. Although I am 10, I definitely still have some spunk in me! I enjoy short walks but will definitely tell you when I’m over my walk and want to go back home to sleep on the couch. I love cuddles and being covered up with a blanket while I sleep. I have a lot of sass and will tell you when I need something. I expect you to share every dish of food you make with me. I am potty and kennel trained. I would never get into anything in the home and don’t really play with toys but I absolutely love bones. I should go to a calmer house to live out my golden years. I have gotten 8 teeth removed so I’ll need year dental check ups to ensure the rest of my teeth are in good health and stay nice and clean. I had some masses on my body tested but they came back benign so thankfully everything is clear there. There should be no issues going forward. I am good with cats. I’ll either cuddle with them or ignore them depending on my mood. I am okay with dogs as long as they are calm and leave my food alone. I don’t like when other dogs are playing or running around too much. I’m a great car rider as well and I love absolutely everyone I meet as long as they give me pets or scratches. If they don’t, I get sad and will tell them that I want some. I have such a big personality and would love a bed to sleep in.
