Story
Meet Lilli — Your New Best Friend Has Arrived! If you’re looking for a dog who believes everyone she meets is a potential best friend, you’ve found her! Lilli is a beautiful young girl with a huge personality, a happy-go-lucky attitude, and enough energy to keep life fun. Lilli is a Boxer mix, and at just under 50 pounds, she’s a petite little package of personality. Her beautiful honey-colored eyes will melt your heart, and her adorable ears—one standing tall and one permanently floppy—make her even more endearing. Lilli is incredibly friendly and truly loves everyone. People? Friends. Dogs? Friends. Cats? Friends. Her favorite thing is playing with her foster family, and she can happily keep the fun going all day long. She’s energetic and playful, but she also knows how to settle down when the action is over. When she gets tired, she turns into a sweet snuggle bug and is more than happy to curl up with her people. And then there’s her absolutely adorable way of asking for attention. When Lilli wants you to notice her, she gives you two little nudges with her nose—as if to say, “Excuse me… I believe it’s time for some love!” She’s also a smart girl who is already doing wonderfully with her manners. Lilli is fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She knows commands including sit, down, and stay, and she’s very observant and eager to learn. Car rides are another favorite. Lilli hops in and settles down to watch the world go by through the window. She’s also a relatively quiet girl and isn't much of a barker. Lilli is also a big fan of treats, especially healthy goodies like watermelon, sweet potato, blueberries, apples, and pineapple. With her intelligence, enthusiasm, and love of treats, she should be a fun dog to continue training and teach new tricks.Lilli has already been spayed and is ready to start the next chapter of her life. She’s playful, affectionate, social, smart, well-mannered, and absolutely convinced that the entire world is here to be her friend. ##2805678##

Story
Danika is a beautiful 58 pound 6-year-old black-and-white Pointer/Boxer mix (best guess) with the perfect balance of playful and laid-back.  Though she can be shy at first, she loves her daily walks, enjoys a good game of tug, and is just as happy relaxing nearby while her people work or unwind. She’s the kind of dog who simply enjoys being part of the family. Danika is thriving in her foster homes, where she is living with teenage children and older calmer male dogs. Danika was found with another dog, a sweet male we named Dalton, who has already been adopted.  Their special bond has shown us that Danika enjoys the companionship of another calm, friendly male dog, and she would likely thrive best in a similar situation.  She has wonderful house manners and is fully house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Danika is affectionate without being demanding, has an easygoing personality, and settles in beautifully at home. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, loving dog to share walks, quiet evenings, and everyday life. If you’re looking for a mature dog who has left her difficult past behind and is ready to spend the rest of her life being cherished, Danika may be the perfect addition to your family. **Danika prefers women over men so we are looking for a home with all women or a single woman. Older teens are just fine, but we are not recommending small children as they may be too busy or boisterous for her.**   To meet Danika in person visit us at www.dsda.org/foster and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, kdewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. Must have a secure fence if in a house. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##2751019##

Dale is a boxer hound mix dob 11-4-25 currently weighing 50lbs. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. He is crate trained and potty trained. He has been socialized with all sorts of other dogs big, medium, and small. He gets along with cats but will chase the cat to play. He is super sweet and playful. He loves playing chase and loves his backyard. He is working on his commands including sit, come, stay, heel for leash walking, and off for not jumping on his humans. His ideal home could be as an only dog or with a doggie buddy male or female. He would need a backyard as he is a young playful puppy. He could be with a single person or family with kids. I would say school age children just bc he is a goofy puppy and might knock a toddler down on accident. He needs a loving forever home ! Applications are at codys_adoption_application. He has been socialized with all sorts of dogs big, medium, and small and both male and female. He would be okay with cats but will chase them to play. He is working on his commands and needs continued obedience training. He is shy without a doggie buddy and would need another doggie buddy in the home whether male or female. He will need a backyard to play in and would not be a good apartment dog. He is super cute and makes this funny squishy face when he is happy. It is so funny and cute when he does it! He needs a forever home with a single person, couple, or family with school aged children. A small child might be knocked over in his exuberance as he is still very much a young sweet boy puppy! Bailey is potty trained, has lived happily indoors with other dogs, and is a true social butterfly. She is playful, affectionate, gentle, and loves being around people. She has always been a beloved companion—she just isn't a fan of cats. She may be a senior, but Bailey still has so much love left to give.
