Meet Sox!  He is a Boxer Mix.  He is good with most all dogs his size or larger.  He is great with children and so sweet. He ignores cats  in his home but chases feral cats outside. Buddy is a silly and fun pup. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to be cuddled. He loves to play tug of rope and will chase the ball but doesn't want to give it back. I think he just wants you to chase him haha. Buddy is a loyal companion and loving pup. Sox would be a perfect addition to any family. He is about 2  years old and weighs 60 lbs   Applications are at codysfriendsrescue.org ##1870822##

Story
Cuco, a Pit BullBoxer mix was rescued from the streets several months ago where he was dumped.  the finders are fostering him and he is a great dog!  . He starts off shy but blossoms into a warm, friendly companion. We are seeking a permanent, loving home where he can thrive. He about 5 years old, weighs, about 50 lbs,.  .. Currently he is living with our childhood dog and has not had any issues, he mixes well with dogs. He is comfortable laying with our dog and just feeling safe for the first time in a long time.  We think he would do great with kids, maybe older since he is a tad shy at first.   ##2546452##

Story
Hi, I’m Joey! I’m a sweet, smiling cuddlebug who just loves being around people. I’m completely potty and crate trained, and while I might get a little jumpy in my kennel, once I’m outside, I’m calm and happy. I adore attention, love going on walks, and can’t wait to find a patient family who will let me shine. Thunderstorms and loud noises can spook me, but with your love, I know I’ll feel safe. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend and someone you can watch some Netflix I’m your guy!  Personality & Traits: Training: Completely potty-trained and crate-trained Home Life: Lived with adults, a 6-year-old child, and another dog; crated when left alone With Dogs: Bossy but playful; loves to wrestle With Kids: Playful With Cats: Never met one With People: Affectionate, social butterfly, very attached Personality: Cuddlebug, couch potato, needy but sweet Leash Skills: Walks well, easy on the leash Favorite Things: Attention, time outdoors, walks, and snuggles Call the shelter at 972-744-4480 or email AskRichardsonAnimalServices@cor.gov to learn more.September 15, 2025, 2:27 pm

Story
Tiger is now in foster and showing what a great dog he is! He’s lived with kids, another dog, and is gentle, affectionate, and playful. This social butterfly loves toys, cuddles, and has energy to spare. He knows “sit,” loves everyone he meets. Loud noises can make him nervous but he is a sweetheart and thinks he is a lap dog. Tiger came into the shelter with his brother, Cass, but they are not bonded and can be adopted separately. If you’re looking for a perfect pair, though, these two would make a fun, loving match! Tiger is ready for a forever home where he can share his playful spirit, loyalty, and endless love! Call the shelter at 972-744-4480 or email AskRichardsonAnimalServices@cor.gov to learn more and schedule an appointment to meet him since he is in a foster home.September 11, 2025, 3:55 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Raven! Life took a turn when I was brought in as a stray, and sadly, no one ever came to reclaim me. But I’ve been given a fresh start—the shelter gave me a dental cleaning and took out some broken teeth, so now I’m feeling so much better. I absolutely adore people, love to be pet, and enjoy playing around. I think I’d do best as your one-and-only dog, but if you have other pups, a meet-and-greet will help us see if we can be friends. She is  HW+, but you can foster to adopt , which means the dog stays with you until treatment is completed and they are cleared, at no extra cost to you. The dog comes off the adoption website once you are signed up for the foster to adopt program, or you can choose to go ahead and adopt, which at that point you are responsible for taking care of the treatment and the cost. Call the shelter at 972-744-4480 or email AskRichardsonAnimalServices@cor.gov to learn more.September 15, 2025, 3:55 pm
