Story
My name is Betty June, but my friends call me Betty.  I was found as a stray in the Justin, TX and the local vet said I’m around 3 years old and weigh 50 Lbs.  They think I’m a mix of boxer and a catahhoula dog.   I am up to dates on all my shots and have been chipped.  I am a very chill girl and love, love, love food, treats and toys (don’t like to share toys).  I enjoy the company of humans so much,  but happy to hang out in my kennel when necessary.  I have not had any accidents in my new home and am how to walk on a leash.  I am a smart lady! Also,  I have warmed up to my foster dog-sister,  SuzyQ.  Proper introductions will be needed if you have a pet,  like most dogs when living with a new member.  I am super sweet and just a great girl!  Because I am very “interested” in fuzzy small critters like bunnies and cats, it would be best if I could I have fenced yard.  Could you be my forever home? If you think I could be, just submit an online adoption application for a meet and greet. Codysfriendsrescue.org  ##1683335##

Story
He really is tiny! He's 40lbs tiny! And DNA tells us that he's a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier   Chaz is an infectious and loveable pocket pup. He has a wiggle like no other and he's affectionate with everyone. He does well on car rides and likes to go for walks.  He's playful with toys, sits on command very well and is quite food motivated! His favorite thing to do is sit in your lap, go on an outing and hang in the backyard (with you). He really loves his people. He is very good going into his kennel and responds well to taught commands. He is strong, so best in a home without small children, and he pulls a bit on the leash and needs a strong handler. He will follow you all over the house and gives lots of kisses. He truly loves people. He will be a great comrade for someone! Chaz makes several appearances around town, so reach out and we can let you know where to meet him!  ##1997426##

Story
Mai is a cross post for the Richardson Animal Shelter. She is currently in a foster home and available. For more information or to set up a meeting to see Mai, please contact Kathy Estes @972-979-6981 or kestes71@yahoo.com. Mai is the sweetest 2 year old pup that will steal your heart away from the moment you lay eyes on her. She has been patiently awaiting her furever family to find her after arriving at the shelter and giving birth to 4 babies. In the meantime, she has been in the loving care of a foster familiy that is preparing her for the day you meet and adopt her! Mai is very treat motivated and learns/obeys new commands quickly. Mai is potty trained and does very well while the family is gone to work. She does good with being bathed and doesn't have a ton of shedding. Mai loves playing, hugging, dancing and cuddling. She is protective of her family when a new person arrives, but once introduced and she knows you are good with the person, she is back to her love bug of a self. She is kid friendly as well. She does well with other dogs and has done playgroup with several pups. She isn't reactive to any animals on walks and walks well on her leash.  She hasn't met a cat, so not sure how she is with those, but that can be tested.    ##2033686##

Story
Art is pretty easy going. He gets along with dogs and is so low key, probably would do fine with cats. He's easy to walk, but a backyard would do just fine for him. He's good in a kennel and food motivated. Art needs some training, mostly fine-tuning on the house training, but that should be easy enough with consistencey and routine. He sure is a cute kid! If your looking to give some love and attention to a dog in need, we cannot think of a better candidate than Art. Art is being crossposted by our org, and is available with a $50 rehoming fee. ##2052288##
