Rocket is a rock star. He is smart, walks well on the leash is housebroken and crate trained. Rocket is approximately 1 year old. This pitbull mix is in search of an active family. He weighs approximately 45 lbs. His ideal family will be active to very active, running, hiking and being out and about. He has an in your face rough and tumble play style that is not well received by every dog. He will most likely be better suited as an only dog or with a very laid back dog. Due to his high prey drive, he will not be good with cats. Rocket is very smart and will thrive in an active family who enjoys doing obedience training with him. Meet Bonnie! She is a 3 yr old Brindle/White petite pit mix and was saved from Turlock Shelter a few days before she was scheduled for euthanasia due to space. She had been in the shelter since October, and came in lactating with no puppies to be found. :( Bonnie is dog friendly but will need a very structured home and very slow introductions to thrive as she has shown some reactivity. Her perfect home though would consist of her being the one and only princess in the house :) She is very human friendly and a very playful, affectionate girl. After decompressing, she has came out of her shell and has shown her foster paw-rents how much she is eager to please everyone. She is a mellow gal, who is working every day on becoming more confident! She is working on her leash manners, and would do just fine with kids 5+. She has been taking pack walks with her foster sister (husky) and has been doing well! She loves to find the sun spot and play fetch in the backyard! **Meet Pi this Saturday, September 9th from 10 to 1 at Dublin Petsmart West, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** Adorable Tripod Puppy Is Ready For Her Forever Home! PI is a real sweetie, only 6-months-old, an all around very nice puppy. She loves everyone she meets and has an adorable personality. She is very easy to manage at adoption events and enjoys snuggling with volunteers she has just met. PI lives in a foster home with children, large and small dogs, and cats. She is house trained and crate trained. She is an energetic youngster but she settles down nicely. We are looking for a home where she will be provided with basic puppy training, regular exercise and activities. Pi weighs approximately 30 pounds. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Introducing the newest pup to our foster family Pi. When Pi first arrived at the shelter it was obvious that she had a signification injury to her left front leg. After an extensive exam by our veterinarian the team decided that the best course of action was to amputate the leg. Now that Pi is unencumbered by a nonfunctional leg she is free to be the precocious puppy that she is. Her recovery from her amputation and spay have gone extremely well so this girl is ready to find a home that will invest in training Pi in basic puppy manners like sit, come and walking nicely on a loose leash (yes, 3 legged dogs can pull on a leash). ## See videos of Pi at the end of the photo gallery! ## If you are interested in PI an application is required. Meet Boss! Boss is a young guy at just 1 yrs old but is the sweetest guy! He was red-listed at Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, CA simply for space alone. He had shown up as a stray and had spent over 30 days in the shelter. The shelter staff used Boss as a tester dog. He is good with both female and male dogs and with different energy levels. Did we mention he has a deep love for water? He LOVES water! Just can't get enough of it! He is a lover of toys as well and will give you kisses whenever he has the chance!
