Adoption Fee: $600 The 8 week old Fashion Litter is turning heads at Milan’s spring runway shows (er, the spring garden show at their foster home ). We first met the mama and her newborn puppies at the shelter. We couldn’t let an overcrowded, loud environment test their fate, so we whisked them all away to a home where they could decompress, be nurtured and thrive. Coco Chanel (the pups’ mom) did a great job raising this joyful bunch, and now it’s time for the fashion stars to all find their forever homes. From the foster family: The Fashion litter’s whimsy nature, engaging personalities and good looks make these pups stand out to everyone passing by our front yard. Super-duper friendly, they’ve brightened the days of college students studying for exams . Contractors , teachers, family and friends (including young kiddos ) are always delighted to play with them . These are the sweetest puppies, destined to become big icons, just like their namesakes. Their mom is a 40lb brindle. Never met the dad. Best guess is these pups will be medium-large when fully grown, and 100% awesome! They will enjoy daily walks/runs, and some adventure outings. They are a bright bunch, and should make for fun training partners. They ride well in the car. They enjoy other dogs; haven't yet met a cat. The pups sleep together through the night and wake up very happy and ready to play. We head outside in the yard about 7:30 am, before having breakfast. Meals are currently three times a day (will drop to two, as they get a bit older). After breakfast, a good nap is due from all the activity. Put the day on repeat with more outdoor playtime and meals. Lights out by 9pm. Burberry (F) is a kind and gentle soul who loves a good playtime romp, and will then curl up next to you. She genuinely tries to engage our “I-don’t-like-to-play” senior dog, and hasn’t taken offense to his rejections. She keeps herself amused exploring and hanging with her siblings. Delightful! Noteworthy s oft fluffy fur. Dior (M) is a charmer. He knows he’s outnumbered by females so he keeps himself relevant by being available to support any front yard action. And when he’s had enough, he takes himself inside for a rest. Great self-regulator :) Dior’s a loving soul and a good snuggler. Noteworthy s oft fluffy fur. Gucci (F), endearingly called Gucci-la (no idea how that started), is always in the mix. With her head-turning looks, she zips around the lawn, checks in on what everyone’s up to, and enjoys the rotation of toys. So far, there isn’t a standout favorite - Gucci’s an equal-opportunity toy aficionado. Hermes (F) is a curious, soft-natured gal. She’s the first head to pop up when the foster mom greets the pups each morning, with a tail wag and a kiss. Excited for whatever’s in store that day, she’s a wonderful combination of warmth and playfulness. Magnetic personality! First one to learn the doggie door. Noteworthy s oft fluffy fur. Prada (F) - Calling all brindle lovers! This beautiful baby looks like her mama. She’s into all the fun! Days are spent exploring the yard and being a toy-tester. Prada’s a silly, playful pup who will bring joy and laughter to her adopter. Valentino (M) - This dapper fella’ can be found solo or in the mix, and enjoys all the puppy playtime. He’s found at his foster’s heels, or rolling in the grass with his siblings. He will explore on his own and mix it up with the group. The only other male, he holds his own amongst his sisters. A Fashion puppy would enjoy being a playful companion to your friendly dog, or could be solo in a home where love and attention is doted on them. Adopters should have had a dog in the last five years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8. April 19, 2024, 6:56 am
