Story
Hello, this big fella here is Mr. Grumps. He was given this name for the grumpy puppy face he had as a puppy, and it just stuck, lol. He is a very energetic dog, just full of energy and very playful. He has not had much interaction with other animals or children, unfortunately. My life has become very busy, and I feel so guilty for not being able to give him the attention and exposure he needs. His birthday is October 19, 2023 (2 yr). He is not currently up to date on his vaccinations, and he is also not neutered. I would love to rehome him to someone that will give him the love and attention he really needs.

Story
They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 6 year old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms. Foster peeps say it means I will get my forever home very soon! Maybe it’s yours! FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, my adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions). Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org! Meet Reese...she came in as a stray and was not claimed. She is good passing other shelter dogs but meet and greets are necessary if you have other dogs. She is pretty good on a leash and friendly.

Story
If you are looking for a dog that makes you feel like you have a child Izze is great choice. Izze is a very outgoing dog who absolutely loves the crap out of snuggles and attention, she was found on the streets in Detroit late one night and given a home. she is a super sweet pup. she knows some training like sit, go to bed as well as she is harness/leash trained. She has a slight issue with peeing/pooping in the household when left alone at home by herself. She seems to have quite a bit of trauma and anxiety from her past. It also appears at some point she may have had a litter of puppies. A quite bit of her past is unknown. She needs someone who will invest in her training and the care of her mental health as well. Preferably someone is home more often than not and more than likely a house with no dogs. She struggles to learn how to be around her own breed as she does not understand playing very much. She does not do well with kids under 5. Please reach out for more info. Thank you.
