My name is Milo and me and my siblings were picked up as young puppies by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where we were in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately, a small local rescue pulled us just in the nick of time and we ended up being enrolled in a small prison dog program where we have all excelled and learned really neat things (check out my cool video!).  We have gotten along with everyone we have met as well as the dogs we have encountered.  We are about 5 mos old and are all around 30lbs; our mom appears to be a pittie/hound mix who only weighs around 40lbs but without knowing who our dad was it's only a guess at how big we might get but best guess based on current weight is around 45-55lbs (I am the smallest of us 4).  We are doing good with housebreaking and as you can tell, good on leash, treat-motivated and smart!  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! Story
Shelby is a very intelligent, high energy puppy who enjoys long walks, cognitive toys, and learning new tricks. Shelby is crate and house trained, and learns commands with ease.   She is very good with fetch, is working on dropping toys, and enjoys tracking frisbees down.  She is a beautiful dog who goes to puppy day care and enjoys playing with larger dogs.  Even though she is good with dogs in public, Shelby prefers to be the only dog in her house and is best behaved with 3 walks a day. Shelby would do best in a consistent environment; ideally a household with the ability to exercise her daily.  She enjoys sunbathing, so a fenced yard would be ideal for her. Story
Cody is a loving and loyal animal who is very energetic and loves to run and chase tennis balls. He cannot be around smaller animals and would do best as a single pet. He gets along well with our female older pit but he has recently been starting to go after her and has bitten her more than once while redirecting his aggression due to other dogs. He unfortunately got upstairs a couple of months ago after the gate separating the upstairs(where the cats live) and the downstairs (where the dogs live) was left open and he killed one of my wifes cats. He has been to a 6 week board and train program and listens well. He is highly food motivated and he loves to chew toys and bones and sicks. Ideally he would be the only animal. He is not people aggressive and is very gentle with our young daughters. He has a lot of energy and would be the perfect partner for a runner or someone who takes long walks.
