Story
Toad is a handsome gray pit bull with a big blocky head, soulful eyes, and an even bigger heart. He’s a sweet, people-loving boy who enjoys being close to his humans—whether that means lounging on the couch, following you from room to room, or soaking up all the affection he can get. Toad has a calm, gentle nature with a playful goofy side that comes out once he’s comfortable. He loves walks, treats, and cozy nap spots, and he’s eager to please. Despite his tough look, Toad is truly a softie who just wants a family to call his own.If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a cuddle buddy, and a best friend rolled into one. Toad might be the perfect match for you.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Story
Hi there! My name’s Buddy Martin, and I’m a 2-year-old bundle of joy with a heart as big as my smile! I might have started life as a stray, but now I’m dreaming of a forever-home where I can share all my love (and a few of my silly zoomies).I’m a sweet, affectionate guy who adores hugs, kisses, and playtime. Give me a tennis ball, and I’ll show you my best moves! I spent some time in a foster home where I proved that I’m both housebroken and crate-trained. Pretty impressive, right?!?I do like to keep an eye on my home and can be protective when new people visit. It helps me feel safe to relax in my crate with a tasty treat when guests come over. That’s why I’d be happiest in an adults-only home without too many visitors, just me, my favorite humans, and lots of love.My dream home would have a fenced yard where I can run, play, and get all my energy out. I’m still working on some basic training, but I’m super eager to please and very treat motivated, so I’m ready to learn everything you want to teach me!The shelter can be a little loud and stressful for me, so I can’t wait to find a calm, quiet home where I can finally relax, cuddle up, and just be your Buddy. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving friend who will keep you smiling every day, come meet me, Buddy Martin, and let’s start our happily ever after! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
I got Tydus at 8 weeks old and shown him so much love since the day we met, he's been such an amazing part of my family. I travel a lot for work and he's so excited every time I come home. He's 3 years old as of early September, he loves my 4 children that are 17,15,7, and 1. Some times he doesn't understand his size and just loves to cuddle and be pet but also loves to run outside and play fetch. I would love a family that can give him the attention he needs, I have him house trained and I have a fenced in yard I only ever put him on a leash for a walk which he loves and he is crate trained, unfortunately he's not a big fan of car rides but will ride in the car if going to vet or the park.

Story
Brindle Pitt looking for a new forever home. We rescued him a little over 2 years ago and never had a problem. (He did show aggression at the rescue place he was at towards other dogs, they believe he was used for fighting as he has a few scars on his legs but he was found on the side of the road) He did a meet and greet with our 2 little pups (chihuahuas) with no problem (his aggression was towards larger dogs) he has lived with them for almost 3 years with no problem. He just recently started showing small signs of aggression and we came home to my little pup dead. He had killed him. he just hasn’t been the same since. He shows absolutely no signs of aggression with kids or people at all only other animals. He would do great in a home where he is by himself.

Story
Meet Remy ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Remy—a resilient, loving pup who’s ready to be your loyal shadow and snuggle partner for life! Remy is an almost 4 year old Rottweiler mix weighing 70lbs, but looks smaller than this, his foster mom has been told. He is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Remy was found as a stray in Cleveland, Texas. Thanks to a Good Samaritan who stepped up for him, his life changed forever. Remy is a total love bug and wants nothing more than to be near his person—your built-in shadow! His separation anxiety has improved so much, and he does great staying loose in the house while you’re away. He’s not a fan of kennels, but has gotten more use to them, especially when you're home. He has excellent house manners and has never had a single potty accident. Love walks? So does Remy! Love car rides? He’s your co-pilot! Love couch snuggles? He’ll be first in line! He’s dog & lifestyle friendly! He’s met and played with several dogs, playful but not overly so. He's met children, mainly on the older side....this goofball thinks he's 1/2 his size. He’s still learning, as we all are, but eager to please. Like any pup who’s getting a fresh start, Remy has a couple of small things he’s working on. Because he’s gentle and responsive, with consistency, these will be easy wins for his new family. •He gets really excited before a walk, at times pulls a bit at the beginning of walks, but settles in once he gets going. It doesn't take long and he's ready for a nap after a quick walk. •He may give you a soft little “welcome home” or “let’s go!” jump, mostly when you’re headed out for a walk or just arriving back. He's just always excited to see his people! Remy is ready to give someone all his love, loyalty, and all of the couch cuddles! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply today and give Remy the loving home he deserves ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him?
