Story
Meet your new best friend. This sweet dog is waiting for a loving home where they can finally settle in and be part of a family. Dogs bring so much joy—loyal companionship, happy greetings, and moments that make every day a little brighter. A meet-and-greet is the best way to see if there’s a connection. Come spend some time together, go for a walk, share a few treats, and see if this pup might be the perfect addition to your life.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20)Leash and collar included

Story
Don’t let the name fool you—Mr. Chaos is actually a snuggly old cutie with a heart of gold. This 9-year-old senior Pit Bull found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own and is now patiently waiting for a fresh start. Mr. Chaos is still getting to know his new surroundings, but he’s been warming up to staff more each day, showing us his sweet, affectionate side. He enjoys the simple things and has that lovable senior charm that makes you want to sit down and give him all the cuddles. He’s done well in dog play groups, and with any potential canine siblings, a meet-and-greet would be needed to make sure everyone’s a good match. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who’s ready to trade the chaos for couch time and companionship, Mr. Chaos might just be your perfect match. Come meet him—you may find your new best friend waiting with a wag and a snuggle. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
Hi there! I’m Goku, a 6-year-old pit bull with a big heart and a gentle soul. I came to the shelter when my family had to move and couldn’t take me along. It was a big change for me, but the wonderful team here has helped me feel so much better! I’m still managing some skin and ear issues and may need a little continued care once I’m home, but I’m well on my way and feeling brighter every day.New situations can make me a bit nervous at first. I might seem shy or a little skittish when we first meet, but if you give me a little time and patience, I promise I’m worth it! Once I feel safe, my goofy, loving personality really shines. I’m a total love bug who just wants to be close to my people.I enjoy playing with other dogs in playgroups, but during my time in foster, I learned that I’d be happiest as the only dog in the home. I like being the center of attention and soaking up all the love for myself! The good news? I’m housebroken and a big fan of cozy snuggles.I’m a work in progress in the very best way. I am learning, growing, and becoming more confident each day. With a patient, understanding family, I know I’ll blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion you’ve been searching for. You and I could be perfect for each other, come and meet me today, you won’t regret it!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
