Meet Biggie! Biggie lives up to his name — he’s a big boy with an even bigger heart! At around 80lbs and 3 years old, this handsome guy is friendly with everyone he meets and always ready to make new friends. Biggie is a playful pup who loves his toys and bones, and he’d thrive in a home that will engage in training, walks, and playtime. While he’s very sweet with children, we’re recommending a home without small kids due to his size and enthusiasm. He’s completely house trained and does great whether crated or left uncrated — what a good boy! He has lived with other dogs before and done well, but slow, proper introductions are a must. Biggie has a bit too much interest in chasing cats, so a feline-free home would be ideal. Ready to meet your big-hearted best friend?

mia is so sweet, playful, fun, and active! i love this dog. the only reason i have to rehome her is because i live in an apartment that doesnt allow dogs and my mom has had health issues making her need to go into a nursing home. thanks for checking her out…we do need to i rehome her SOON!

Bo is a 4 year old pit bull mix, unfortunately due to life circumstances and busy work schedule he does not get the time he needs to be out, active and deserves better. He is a very sweet dog, gets along well with other animals and loves children. High energy. Has never shown any signs of any type of aggressive behavior and just wants to be loved. Hoping to find him a person who can play with him, be his companion and love him.

Charlie is a "Pittee"mix boy about 3-4 years old who came to the shelter as a stray. He's a delightful dog with his adorable "pirate mask" markings on his face and he will surely steal your heart. Charlie is full of personality and is always ready to join in the fun of whatever yo would like to do. A game of fetch? Awesome! A long walk together? Perfect. This enthusiastic and friendly fun loving boy needs a family to live with, play with and love for all of his life. Due to his high energy level, the shelter recommends Charlie go to a home with no small children. Charlie is a courtesy post for  Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV, about 45 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Breed: Lovebug Extraordinaire Looking for a loyal shadow with four legs and a whole lot of snore? Meet Snuffleupagus, or Snuffy to his friends (which is everyone he meets!). At approximately 90 pounds, this big-hearted boy is packed full of love, affection, and just a sprinkle of clingy charm. If you're the kind of person who never wants to go to the bathroom alone again—Snuffy is your guy. Snuffy is a world-class cuddler with zero concept of his size—he’ll climb right into your lap if you let him, and even if you don’t. He just wants to be close to his person, and will follow you wherever you go. Expect slow tail wags, big soulful eyes, and full-body lean-ins when he wants some love (which is often). He is crate trained but does not like being confined. He will politely go to the door when he needs to go outside, but you must do your part to let him out. He’s also a gentle house guest who respects his space—unless his snoring counts as property damage. Because oh boy, Snuffy snores like a freight train coming through a tunnel… with no brakes… and maybe a tuba. Due to some ongoing medical issues, Snuffy will need a family who’s committed to his health and well-being. He’ll require special attention and veterinary support, but in return, he’ll give you unmatched loyalty and the kind of love that fills a room. Important note: Snuffy is NOT built for heat. Anything above 80° and he’s ready to melt. He must be kept indoors in a cool, climate-controlled environment. Think of him as a furry air conditioner who likes you more than summer. he does enjoy long leisurely walks around the yard stopping to smell each and everything he possibly can. He does seem hard of hearing, but will come running once you catch his eye. Snuffy is a once-in-a-lifetime companion for a laid-back home with humans who appreciate a velcro dog with a gentle soul.
