Story
Hi, I'm Selena! I’m a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a sweet personality and just the right amount of spunk. I currently weigh around 20 pounds but still have a little growing left to do. I’m getting the hang of sleeping in my crate, though I’d much rather be close to my people. I’ve already mastered the doggie door and am learning that outside isn’t just for play... it’s where I’m supposed to go potty, too. Who knew? I absolutely love people and am currently living with a cat. He’s not really into playing, so I leave him alone—no big deal! I'm up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Apply to meet me today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2394426##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Are you looking for a sweet, loving soul to join your family? Deimos, aka Saul, is your man! He is 4 years old, 60 lbs, and looking for love and a place to call home.  Deimos is fully potty trained and knows basic commands (sit, stay, heel, lay down, come, shake), which he learned in a comprehensive board-and-train program, and knows how to use the doggie door. He continues to work on his leash manners and work through some manageable anxiety about new things and people. He is crate trained, is calm while you're away, and sleeps contentedly through the night (he loves to snuggle, if you're into that). Deimos still has the fun puppy energy without all those pesky puppy habits. Silly, wiggly, and bouncy? Check! Chewing and jumping? Not this guy! He would love to be your adventure buddy but also would love to cuddle up on the couch with you or assist on your work-from-home days (do you need a handsome boy to join you on your Zoom meeting? Deimos is happy to oblige).  He will brighten your day with his happy thumping tail, his intrigue about dogs and other animals on the TV, his kind eyes, and gentle pawing and head butts to get pets. He is friendly with his foster brother, but can be apprehensive about certain dogs he sees on walks. He will need structured introductions and a confident and supportive family to advocate for him with new friends. He does not need another dog in his new home, but it would be an added bonus if his new family had a confident dog who can teach him the ropes. He loves people, but will need a little time (a few minutes typically) and structure to adjust to new people who come around; he simply prefers not to be pet immediately and that he makes the choice about being touched. He decides swiftly and with confidence who to trust when given the space he needs. Turns out he trusts essentially everyone! He would thrive with a family who is as loyal to and supportive of him as he will be to them; can provide structure and love; and can help him gain confidence and learn that the world is not a scary place. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and ready to join your family today. Apply to learn more and meet this true gem of a dog. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1193696##

Story
Joni is a 3yo pure breed Australian Shepard. We have had her since 8wks old. In most ways she is a typical Australian with high energy and wants to work. She has been around dogs from daily walks, numerous camping trips, hiking adventures etc.but she has a dominate personality and depending on the other dog I’m not sure how she would be. Joni does have sensitivity with her neck (since we brought her home), so she likes to challenge putting a collar but we put one on everyday. She is crate trained. She does have a correction collar and has on during day and on walks. Her recall is overall good. We have young children and she is okay with them but she is fast, can jump high and doesn’t always mind who is in her way. Best if in a home with no kids Or older (13+) She would be a fantastic Dog on acres of land where she could Herd and just run!!

Story
Introducing Ginny (AKA Virginia) This chocolate-colored cutie is the perfect blend of sassy confidence and sweet, snuggly charm. Ginny has a bright, playful spark — but once the fun winds down, she melts right into your lap or curls up beside you, always wanting to be close to her people. As a Mini Aussie, she’s looking for an active home that will give her the exercise, interaction, and mental stimulation she craves. She’s treat-motivated, eager to please, and making progress with potty training. Ginny does well in her crate, rides nicely in the car, and greets new people with gentle, cautious friendliness. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has been cat-tested — typically choosing to ignore them unless they wander a little too close (then she’ll politely let them know she sees them!). Ginny will thrive in a loving, engaged home that’s ready for playtime, companionship, and lots of cozy moments. Bring this sweet girl home, and you’ll gain a loyal best friend who will happily become part of the family. Story
Name: Ted Breed: Toy Australian Shepherd Sex: Neutered Male Age: 1 year 6 months Weight: 21 lbs Needs Experienced Adopter, We are seeking a foster-to-adopt home for Ted, someone experienced with dogs who have fear-based reactivity and willing to continue working on his behavior with patience, structure, and training support through PawsCo. Good with dogs? Ted may do best as an only dog, as he can be protective of his food and may feel overwhelmed sharing space. Good with cats? No. Good with kids? No. Energy Level: Medium. Ted loves to romp around, explore the backyard, and play with toys. Once his play needs are met, he settles nicely and enjoys relaxing. Behavioral Needs: Ted spent most of his early life outdoors and is still learning how to be a comfortable indoor companion. He’s working on feeling safe, managing his stranger danger, and sharing resources. Because he struggles with being left alone, he will need a home where someone is home often or works from home. Ted is significantly undersocialized and requires very slow, structured introductions to new people and experiences. Continued professional training will be important for his success. About Ted: Ted is a silly little rascal with a big heart who thrives on fun, exploration, and connection. He’s looking for a patient, committed adopter who can help grow his confidence through gentle guidance, consistent training, and thoughtful socialization. Ted is easily frightened by loud noises, barking dogs, and unfamiliar people, but with love and support, he can learn that the world is safe. Despite his rocky start, he is ready to blossom and share his playful, curious, sweet puppy personality with the right person. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!

Story
Meet Lady! Lady is a 2-year-old Kelpie/Bloodhound mix with a huge heart and a wicked-smart brain. She came from Dallas and has been thriving in her foster home ever since. Lady is deeply affectionate and bonds quickly, but she’s a little shy at first — especially around hands — and appreciates someone who lets her set the pace early on. Once she trusts you, she’s loyal, loving, and all-in. As a true working-breed mix, Lady is sharp, eager to learn, and loves having a “job.” If it moves, she’ll try to herd it, so she does best with adults and either as an only dog or with dogs who won’t mind her instincts. She absolutely shines with consistent direction, structure, and clear boundaries. Lady’s superpowers: Wicked smart + quick learner Treat-motivated and thrives with positive reinforcement Nose that never quits — she loves scent work and mental games Bonds deeply once she feels safe Lady is also working through a few things: she can be leash reactive, she has some resource-guarding tendencies, and she’s still learning to trust hands. The good news? She responds incredibly well to training and consistency. Her foster family, along with guidance from a trainer, has already given her a strong foundation — especially with her crate, which she now sees as her safe, cozy spot. Lady’s dream home: Adults only A yard for zoomies Someone steady, patient, and consistent An adopter excited to continue training (she loves it and learns fast!) If you want a smart, devoted, endlessly rewarding companion who’s ready to grow with you, Lady could be your girl. She just needs the right person to bring out her very best.  December 14, 2025, 8:53 pm
