Story
Darwin is the last of his litter and is wondering why he hasn't found his Fur-ever home like his siblings have. He is 16 weeks old and weighs about 16lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and monthly preventatives. We know that his mom is a Blue tick coonhound, blue heeler mix. His mom was about 35lbs. We believe full grown that he will be medium-sized dogs. Below is what his foster has to say about him. Darwin is an awesome little guy. HAe’s super friendly, playful, and kind & has been the best foster pup. He’s mastered the stairs (both up and down), plays in the toddler pool, sits for treats, and has lots of fun meeting new people. Darwin would love a fenced-in yard to run around in & to be able to spend time outside with his people and dog friends. If it wasn’t so hot out, he would hang out there for hours. He’s looking for a family who has someone home a lot. He gets nervous in the car and drools, but I’m guessing that will get better as he goes more places🐾 Darwin’s is a sweet, cute and lanky guy who wants to be involved with everything a family does and be a big part of their lives. He is going to make the best furry friend to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him ❤️

Story
Meet Patty, she came to our rescue from a small rescue that was in need of help with her and some of her siblings. So we took her and 2 siblings in. She is UTD on vaccines on flea and tick protection and heartworm prevention. She currently weighs 13lbs. We were told she is the runt of the litter. We are told that she is pretty much an Australian cattle dog. Her mom was only about 30-35lbs so fill grown, we believe she will be a medium size dog. She is a very sweet dog. She loves to cuddle with you. She is very smart and treat motivated. We are working on teaching her to sit. If you are interested in adopting her, please send us a message, or fill out an application.

Story
Remo! This warrior miracle knows his forever family will come. Is it you? Here is a reminder of this guy’s story…When he was only several weeks old, he was found in a ditch, dragging his hind quarters, possibly due to being hit by a car. Sadly, this little guy was left to die. Stray Network stepped up, rescued him, gave him a name and a chance. It was determined that Remo needed extensive surgeries to repair compressed discs in his spine and a severely broken back leg. In the months that he has been with us, he’s gone from being paralyzed to walking and even running short distances. Remo is consistently working hard to regain strength and to heal nerve damage in his back legs. This is done by having him up and walking around the house or yard. He is one determined, treat motivated guy! Remo loves attention from people. He enjoys playing with other dogs. He is good on a leash and is able to take short, leisurely walks. His forever family should realize that while he does have limitations, he is still healing and it’s beneficial to have him continue to work on moving and strengthening his back legs. No doubt he will his show his forever family lots of love and bring happiness to their lives. Remo is neutered and fully vetted! To apply for Remo, visit straynetwork.org

Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 610-656-1291 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 July 26, 2024, 5:07 pm
