Major (male) Description of the Pet **Applicant Requirements:** -Be at least 21 years of age and the Homeowner or Rentee. -Households with children under 8 years of age, must have a physical fence attached to the home or an electric/invisible fence. However, there are other instances when a fence may be required for the safety of the dog or puppy. Name: Major Age: 2 years DOB: 6/22/24 Weight: 74 lbs Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Meet Major Major is a 2-year-old pup with a big heart and a story that’s shaped his gentle soul. He came from a difficult domestic situation and is now looking for the safety, stability, and love he truly deserves. At around 74 pounds (and working on a healthy weight), Major is a solid, medium-energy dog who enjoys the simple things—like exploring the world through his nose and taking in all the scents around him. Sniffing adventures are one of his favorite pastimes! Major is great with other dogs and tends to feel more confident when they’re around. He absolutely adores women and forms strong bonds with them. He can be wary of men at first due to his past home life, but with patience, kindness, and time, he’s able to warm up and build trust. Because of his past, Major is looking for an understanding home that will give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable. He walks best with people he trusts, and that bond will come with consistency and care. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely explore, decompress, and adjust at his own pace. Despite everything he’s been through, Major is a total love bug who craves companionship, freedom, and the chance to just be a dog. At this time, a home without young children would be the best fit for him. Major has so much love to give—he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and show him that the world can be a safe and happy place. Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. Another great reason to adopt form Greenmore…..
