Story
MEET THE GIRL OF YOUR DREAMS –CARISSA, AKA CARRIE THE SWEETHEART! "Would you like to dance around the world with me?" "You and me together, we can anything" "I’d walk halfway around the world, just to sit down by your side, or on your lap. All I want is to be the apple of your eye.” Love, Carrie. Carrie is a 2-year-old Red Heeler pup. She is made up of stardust and wishes, and magical things. Carrie has won the hearts of everyone lucky enough to spend time with her. This girl’s beauty inside and out is more beautiful than any flower. If I was a more talented writer, I would write hundreds of poems dedicated to her beauty. Carrie is a beauty queen, but her sweet heavenly soul is what’ll melt your heart. She’s a gorgeous beauty queen. She is super friendly and an inspiration to life. After all she has been through, living her life in a rural shelter for so long where adoptions rarely exist, making her time on this earth almost expire until her flock of friends in Louisiana and LaMancha saying yes to save her life by the minute. Thank goodness because she deserves to be treated like royalty and be shown kindness and love for the rest of her precious life. She is a sweetheart, good with other dogs, and she’ll make you feel good for days just being in her presence. Carrie wants you to know, she will love you with all her heart and be all that you need. Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org – attention Carrie. *************** 2 years old. Spayed/neutered, UTD vaccinations, microchipped, wormed. Story
Remo! This warrior miracle knows his forever family will come. Is it you? Here is a reminder of this guy’s story…When he was only several weeks old, he was found in a ditch, dragging his hind quarters, possibly due to being hit by a car. Sadly, this little guy was left to die. Stray Network stepped up, rescued him, gave him a name and a chance. It was determined that Remo needed extensive surgeries to repair compressed discs in his spine and a severely broken back leg. In the months that he has been with us, he’s gone from being paralyzed to walking and even running short distances. Remo is consistently working hard to regain strength and to heal nerve damage in his back legs. This is done by having him up and walking around the house or yard. He is one determined, treat motivated guy! Remo loves attention from people. He enjoys playing with other dogs. He is good on a leash and is able to take short, leisurely walks. His forever family should realize that while he does have limitations, he is still healing and it’s beneficial to have him continue to work on moving and strengthening his back legs. No doubt he will his show his forever family lots of love and bring happiness to their lives. Remo is neutered and fully vetted! To apply for Remo, visit straynetwork.org

Story
I am free to adopt thanks to a generous donor!Hello there, I'm Stella-a sweet and thoughtful 8-year-old Australian Cattledog hoping to find a home where I can share my love and loyalty. I may be a bit nervous when we first meet, but once I warm up, you'll see just how sweet and affectionate I truly am.I've had some experience living with another dog, although I may show initial nervousness when meeting new canine friends. With a little patience and reassurance, I'm sure I can build positive relationships with furry companions. On walks, I'm a dream companion-I walk very well on leash and absolutely love to explore my surroundings. Taking in the sights and smells of the world around me brings me great joy, and I can't wait to share these adventures with you. When it comes to people, once I'm out of my kennel and walking, I quickly warm up and show my true friendly nature. I enjoy spending time with humans and am eager to form strong bonds with a loving family. As for kids, I have no restrictions-I'm a gentle soul who appreciates respect for my space and signals, especially when I'm feeling a bit nervous. With understanding and patience, I'm sure I'll become a beloved companion for children who appreciate my calm demeanor and gentle affection. If you're looking for a loyal and loving dog who will bring joy and companionship into your life, come meet me today! Story
Meet Sophie, a delightful 7-year-old dog who is as sweet as can be and loves to be the center of attention! Sophie enjoys her walks and absolutely adores receiving affection from anyone willing to give it. She's a social butterfly, always ready to make new friends wherever she goes. While Sophie's enthusiasm for walks sometimes leads her to pull on the leash, it's just because she's so excited about exploring the world around her. With a little patience and training, she'll be your perfect walking buddy in no time!Sophie came into the shelter with another dog and got along famously with her furry friends here. She has a great track record of being friendly and sociable with other dogs, which makes her a fantastic candidate for a multi-dog household. As for cats, Sophie's history with them is unknown, so introductions should be done slowly and she should have a space where she can feel safe and separate if needed. When it comes to kids, there are no restrictions! Sophie has been incredibly friendly during her stay at the shelter, showing her gentle and loving nature to everyone she meets. If you're looking for a loving and outgoing companion who enjoys walks, cuddles, and making new friends, Sophie is the perfect match for you. Come meet her and see for yourself what a wonderful addition she'll make to your family!Available at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, Birdsboro Pa 19508, KL#1257 Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 65 Age: 7yrs 3mths 0wks
