Story
Finn is just a cool dude. He is exactly who they’re talking about when people say that dogs are your “best friend.” Just because he’s an adult dog and he’s in rescue doesn’t mean he has baggage or issues. To the contrary, actually. He’s a really good guy who has found himself in need of a home. First, the doggie demographics: He is 2 years old and weighs 58 pounds, and he’s a Staffordshire Terrier/Red Heeler mix. Now, the fun stuff about our best boy. Finn loves his person(s) and is happiest when you are doing whatever you do. His company is the optimistic, reassuring kind of company – not too clingy or needy. Are you headed to check on the laundry? Finn wants to know if it’s ready, too. Going to the table to open your computer and crank out some emails? Finn knows you do your best work when he’s laying at your feet or snoring – sorry Finn, we mean “deep breathing” – in his dog bed. Sitting down to relax at the end of the day? Finn will help himself to your lap, or to that cozy dent in the cushion right next to you. He knows sit, down, stay and kennel, and he’ll do almost anything you say when there’s a yummy treato involved. He’s also good on the leash and enjoys a nice walk. You’ll be able to train him quickly, between his smarts and his love for treats. He also loves a good chew toy. Finn gets along great with other dogs and plays with his foster dog siblings. He’d be equally happy to have a person or three or four who dote on him without another canine buddy, too, though. He hasn’t met a cat yet. He sleeps all night in his crate, and he’s not a super early riser; his foster family often has to wake him up in the morning, lol. He is both house-trained and crate-trained. When he’s in play mode, he might be a bit too rambunctious for small children. But he’d love a kid playmate who is ready to roll with him. He’ll make endless friends, no doubt. Finn is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. You’ve gotta meet him! Apply to adopt him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org, and his foster will be in touch to set up a meeting once you’re approved. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Look into Bahama Breeze’s beautiful brown eyes, and you can see the hope in them. In fact, her whole floppy-eared, cute little ginger self is downright adorable. And her potential is endless. She’s the kind of girl who is worth a bit of patience to reach a lifetime of love and connection together. She is a 2-year-old Cattle Dog/Beagle mix who weighs about 30 pounds, and she came to us as a mama. Now that her puppies have all found their forever homes, she’s ready to find herself and build an identity as her own doggie woman. Bahama Breeze is a very shy lady, and she is also a total sweetheart. She picks her favorite people, who often are men, and she likes to be petted and cuddled by them – in short doses. It will take a little while to build a relationship with her, possibly several days, so she’ll need a patient home where she can adjust to all the new sounds and smells and then slowly come around to the people. Once she knows her people, she’ll be your friend for life. Bahama Breeze loves going to the backyard for some playtime on her own or with her foster dog siblings. She does well on the leash and is getting better every day, so going for walks is a nice way to connect and be together. She is most playful when there’s another dog around. She likes to romp and goof off with a canine buddy, but she’ll also find lots of good sniffs and explore the yard. She likes a good chew toy to occupy her. She might do best to have a confident dog sibling to show her the ropes. At night, she sleeps peacefully in bed with her people or on a dog bed on the floor. She is house-trained and does best when she’s on a schedule for going outside. She should be in a kid-free home. Bahama Breeze is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee is $225. Bring your patience to the meet & greet, which will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Herbert is a quirky, smart dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s incredibly loyal, loves to snuggle, enjoys car rides and walks, and knows sit, crate, leave it, come, and place. He’s fearless, funny, and guaranteed to keep you smiling. Herbert is truly a one-person dog who wants his own human to bond with. He thrives as the only pet, where he doesn’t have to share attention and can be someone’s full-time best friend and co-pilot. He loves structure, routine, and being part of whatever you’re doing. He’s bright, eager to learn, and occasionally shows classic heeler-style nips when excited, but with boundaries and consistency he settles in well. We’re rehoming him because the fit with our pets isn’t right. Herbert is ready for a home where he can be the center of someone’s world — and he’ll give you unmatched loyalty in return.

Story
Hello, I'm Juniper, but my foster family calls me Juni! I am a very active 2 year old cattle-dog mix. Just like juniper bushes never lose their leaves, I never lose my smile! I'm a sweet girl who has a lot of love to give to my forever family. I enjoy cuddling with people and giving them kisses, playing with my toys, and getting treats! I would thrive in a home with another dog to play with! I am both potty and crate trained, so I will easily adapt to your lifestyle. I walk well on a leash, but sometimes I still get nervous walking by cars. My only downside is that I do shed quite a bit, even with regular brushing, so I hope you have a good vacuum! If I seem like a good fit for your family, please submit an application to meet me!  https://savingdeathrowdogs.rescuegroups.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 12, 2025, 8:44 am
