He thrives as the only pet, where he doesn’t have to share attention and can be someone’s full-time best friend and co-pilot. He loves structure, routine, and being part of whatever you’re doing. 🐾 Meet Delta — A Spunky Heeler Mix with a Big Heart 🐾 Delta is an 11-month-old American Blue Heeler mix with a whole lot of personality, affection, and that classic young-dog sparkle. Recently returned through no fault of her own, Delta is ready for a fresh start with a family who’s excited to love her, guide her, and keep up with her joyful energy. Delta is truly a sweetheart. She loves people and thrives on connection, whether that’s snuggling up with her humans or playing with other dogs. She adores kids and would be a great fit for a family with children, especially one with other young, playful dogs—but she’d also be perfectly happy as someone’s devoted best friend. In her foster home, Delta has proven just how smart and well-mannered she is. She’s fully potty trained, quiet and comfortable in her crate (which she actually enjoys as a cozy place to relax), and has not shown any destructive behaviors—she sticks to her toys and leaves everything else alone. She rarely barks, aside from excited playtime, and she’s dog-friendly and submissive with canine friends. Delta is eager to learn and has already picked up household routines by following her foster siblings. Being homeless and at a shelter isnt fun - can be downright scary. I was at a small&#44 rural town shelter which doesnt get much traffic. I was then fortunate to go to Great Plains to a much bigger town. Ohhhhhh&#44 Im hoping that it will help me find my own family and home.<br/><br/>The staff/volunteers are super nice and Im slowly feeling more confident with everything being new to me. I enjoy playing with stuffy toys and know the command&#44 sit. I walk nicely and do like back rubs (who doesnt?). You need to see me with other dogs. I am not bashful at all with other dogs. We speak the same language. Dogs give me confidence in myself and WOW playing in playgroups with different dogs is heaven for me. <br/><br/>Do you have a dog that would enjoy having a brother? Id be happy to have a sister or brother or both. Bring your dog(s) and lets meet. Im a good boy and look forward to meeting you. <br/><br/>All my love&#44<br/>Bowie
