Story
Ever get stressed or anxious when you are inside? But once you get outside&#44 you feel free as a bird and relax and can calm your inner nerves? Well&#44 thats me! Hi&#44 Im handsome and sweet-natured Archie&#44 and I was simply not made for shelter life. Nope&#44 sitting inside a kennel when all I really want is to be out and about with YOU is very frustrating! They call it transition stress. Once Im outside of the shelter&#44 my fears and anxiety simply melt away. Walks make me one of the happiest boys on the planet!

Im young&#44 energetic&#44 friendly&#44 and a confident boy. I met up with another dog in a one-on-one playgroup&#44 and we did great together. I might go in a little too enthusiastic at my first meeting sometimes; but&#44 I was told to chill out by the other pup&#44 and I did exactly that! Im smart&#44 too&#44 see? Im a big tail wagger&#44 and Im a lover of toys and tug.

The shelter thinks Id do best in a home with kids 8 and up. Ive got so much love to give to a family. I just want my chance again&#44 and I wont be able to contain my excitement when you say&#44 Archie&#44 youre coming home!. I cant wait!!

Love from Archie

Featuring photos by Caley Clark Photography

Story
Meet Ziggy! This boy is a super speedy ball of energy and FUN! You absolutely can never get bored with him around. It's difficult to tell in a photo, but he is a super fun sized guy weighing in at only 38 lbs.! He's the perfect fit if you're looking for someone who can kick it with the big dogs, and has a big personality, but in a compact size! Ziggy is about 5 years old, he loves to play with his friends and definitely keeps us all laughing with his goofy, zoomie personality. Ziggy craves social interaction, from humans and other dogs. His previous owner left him alone on a tie out often, which caused him to have some separation anxiety. Having other dogs to play with has definitely helped him in this area, but he will still need a home where he will not be alone long hours of the day everyday. He would also do best in a home with a canine companion to play with. Ziggy will need an active family, he is a fun loving, high energy dog. He would not be an appropriate fit for someone who does not have the time to give him a lot of daily exercise and activity. Ziggy loves kids, but he is pretty hyper and needs to work on manners, so he may be to much for small toddlers and babies. However, older kids would be okay. Ziggy needs at least a 6 foot fence for any home with a yard, he can jump a four foot fence. Ziggy would be best in a home without cats or really tiny dogs as he wants to chase and play and is just a little to much for them. He is crate trained and should transition into housetraining quickly. If you have another dog, we will want to introduce them to ensure that they get along well.
