Thick 'n Nugget has been with us for a long time. He has a story to tell but its a rough one. He never fully got the socialization he needed and unfortunately is struggling to find his fit in this world. He does solicit for affection once he get to know you but like many other under socialized dogs he can be very independent. He needs a home without cats. He is also very good with other dogs, he hasn't met a dog he doesn't get along with yet! If you are wanting a good walking buddy, he's your boy. He'll stick by your side like glue. A good fit for Thick 'n Nugget would be a home that is more mellow, a fenced yard with another dog to help him grow his confidence and someone that understands that he just needs time to adjust.

Torvi is 3 1/2 years old and weighs 58 pounds. She is kennel trained. I rescued her from a shelter in Liberty when she was 6 months old. I don't know anything about her past except that she came from an animal hording situation. She is a brilliant funny girl who is full of life and love. She knows many commands and a few tricks. Her DNA test indicates she is 50% Australian Cattle Dog and the other 50% is a mix of other breeds which does include pitbull. She exhibits all of the traits of a cattle dog with a pitbull body. She has an incredibly high drive to run long distances at great speeds and chase any toy you throw. Fetch is her favorite game. She is reactive to male dogs but gets along great with female dogs. She is scared around men until she gets to know them but loves women. She also loves cats. She does not like young children at all. She does well with teenagers and older. She needs a home that will keep her very active and give her plenty of jobs to do.
