Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats, time and patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today!

Story
Gonzo is the class clown of the his litter — and he proudly owns the title of Most Likely to Cause Mischief. Gonzo and his family were brought into rescue alongside their devoted mama, Callie. Now this 60% Australian Cattle Dog and 20% Pitbull Terrier mix is safe, growing fast, and putting all that puppy energy to good use… mostly by finding new ways to be silly. Gonzo is the life of the party. He loves to play, chew on anything that looks remotely chewable, and bark just to hear his own voice. If there’s a toy nearby, he’ll grab it. If there’s another puppy nearby, he’ll wrestle it. And if there’s a quiet moment… Gonzo will probably fix that. This goofy boy is full of personality and puppy antics. He’s curious, bold, and always ready for the next adventure — even if that adventure is just zooming around the room or proudly carrying a toy twice his size. Beneath all the chaos, though, Gonzo is a sweet, happy pup who loves attention and will happily be apart of your adventures for years to come. Gonzo will thrive in a home that’s ready for all the fun (and training!) that comes with an energetic working-breed mix. With patience, playtime, and plenty of chew toys, this silly boy is going to grow into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a puppy who will make you laugh every day and keep life interesting, Gonzo might just be your guy. Gonzo's adoption fee is $275 and includes all age-appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, and heartworm prevention. Story
Meet Ziggy! This boy is a super speedy ball of energy and FUN! You absolutely can never get bored with him around. It's difficult to tell in a photo, but he is a super fun sized guy weighing in at only 38 lbs.! He's the perfect fit if you're looking for someone who can kick it with the big dogs, and has a big personality, but in a compact size! Ziggy is about 5 years old, he loves to play with his friends and definitely keeps us all laughing with his goofy, zoomie personality. Ziggy craves social interaction, from humans and other dogs. His previous owner left him alone on a tie out often, which caused him to have some separation anxiety. Having other dogs to play with has definitely helped him in this area, but he will still need a home where he will not be alone long hours of the day everyday. He would also do best in a home with a canine companion to play with. Ziggy will need an active family, he is a fun loving, high energy dog. He would not be an appropriate fit for someone who does not have the time to give him a lot of daily exercise and activity. Ziggy loves kids, but he is pretty hyper and needs to work on manners, so he may be to much for small toddlers and babies. However, older kids would be okay. Ziggy needs at least a 6 foot fence for any home with a yard, he can jump a four foot fence. Ziggy would be best in a home without cats or really tiny dogs as he wants to chase and play and is just a little to much for them. He is crate trained and should transition into housetraining quickly. If you have another dog, we will want to introduce them to ensure that they get along well.

Story
Fozzie is the biggest teddy bear! Born in an unsafe location with his six siblings, Fozzie and his family were brought into rescue alongside their devoted mama, Callie. Now this 60% Australian Cattle Dog and 20% Pitbull Terrier mix is safe, growing fast, and busy doing what he does best: loving people and soaking up all the cuddles he can get. This boy loves to be held and will happily melt right into your arms. If there’s a person nearby, Fozzie wants to be with them. He’s affectionate, people-focused, and always ready for attention. Lately, he's really enchanted with playing on the bed and doesn't want to leave. Don’t let the cuddly side fool you though — Fozzie loves to play with other dogs. He has two older dogs in his foster home that keep him busy and he's very respectfully wary of the cats in the house. Fozzie loves to play outside and get into trouble as much as any other puppy. But don't worry, Fozzie will alert you to his naughtiness because he's always talking. Fozzie also loves to use his voice and isn’t shy about howling or barking to join the conversation. With the perfect mix of cuddly and silly, Fozzie is a lovable puppy who will thrive in a home ready for all the fun, training, and affection that comes with a growing pup. If you’re looking for a big snuggly best friend who will keep you entertained, Fozzie might just be your guy. Fozzie's adoption fee is $275 and includes all age-appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, and heartworm prevention.
