Story
Parka is as sweet as she is beautiful. And that’s saying something! This gentle girl is well behaved and seems to get along just fine with other animals. She’s a polite leash walker and is already showing great signs of house and kennel training. Parka may be a bit shy when you first meet her but give her a little time and she’ll melt right into your heart. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality comes out in full force, especially if chin scratches are involved! She loves gentle attention and will wag her tail happily when you talk to her. Parka is a softhearted pup just waiting for a cozy home and someone to love!

Story
Sanjo is 8yrs old. His nick name is Danny. Hes a white dog with black spots. Hes an old doggo. He loves the color blue and playing with new toys but his teeth are somewhat bad so playing tug of war is iffy for him. He mainly eats Purina One chicken bites flavored. Other dog foods hell puke up. Some days he wont eat but thats only because he eats when hes hungry. Some times you have to remind him to eat. Hell lay down on his stomach and eat. Not so much stand up on all legs and eat. Hes slightly blind but his hearing is flawless. Trained. House trained and potty trained though if not taken outside hell use it inside. Only because he cant hold it in for super long periods of time. (4hrs to 6hrs minimum for his blader hold) he doesnt like cats and puppies or children but he gets along with other trained dogs. May be aggressive at first, but hes a sweetheart. Hes caring and loves to cuddle. Hell sniff your face to get a recognize of you. If he licks you. Youre special to him.

Story
Being homeless and at a shelter isnt fun - can be downright scary. I was at a small&#44 rural town shelter which doesnt get much traffic. I was then fortunate to go to Great Plains to a much bigger town. Ohhhhhh&#44 Im hoping that it will help me find my own family and home.

The staff/volunteers are super nice and Im slowly feeling more confident with everything being new to me. I enjoy playing with stuffy toys and know the command&#44 sit. I walk nicely and do like back rubs (who doesnt?). You need to see me with other dogs. I am not bashful at all with other dogs. We speak the same language. Dogs give me confidence in myself and WOW playing in playgroups with different dogs is heaven for me.

Do you have a dog that would enjoy having a brother? Id be happy to have a sister or brother or both. Bring your dog(s) and lets meet. Im a good boy and look forward to meeting you.

All my love&#44
Bowie

Story
Meet Carlsbad — Your Spirited, Snuggly Sidekick! 🐾 Carlsbad is a young Red Heeler/Pit Bull mix bursting with adorable puppy energy and big charm. He’s curious, playful, cuddly, and always ready to be part of whatever his people are doing. This friendly guy gets along great with dogs, cats, and children. In classic heeler fashion, he may try to herd his friends, but he’s learning quickly and his puppy manners are coming along beautifully. He’s outgrown his mouthy puppy phase and is turning into a polite, eager-to-please companion. Carlsbad already has some impressive “big dog” skills, too — he has free roam of his foster home and reliably uses the doggie door. He absolutely loves having the freedom to pop outside for a sniff, adventure, or zoomie session, so a fenced yard would make him very happy. When he’s not exploring, Carlsbad is a total cuddler who enjoys curling up with his humans and soaking up affection. He’d thrive with a family who enjoys an active, smart, affectionate pup and is ready to keep up with his fun-loving heeler spirit. If you’re looking for a playful adventure buddy who also gives A+ snuggles, Carlsbad is your guy. 💛 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
🌄 Meet Denali — The Sweet, Playful Explorer Waiting for Her Forever Home! Denali is a 6-month-old cutie from the “National Parks” litter — a group of puppies rescued from very poor outdoor living conditions. While seven of her littermates have already been adopted, Denali and her two siblings are still waiting…watching other puppies leave for their new lives while they grow older in care. 💔 But Denali isn’t letting that dim her spirit. She is bright, friendly, curious, and so ready for a family of her own. 🐶 About Denali Denali is a beautiful mystery mix of Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) and Pit Bull Terrier, and she has the best traits of both breeds — smart, people-oriented, affectionate, and eager to please. ✨ Her Personality: • Super friendly — loves meeting new people • Playful and curious — everything is exciting and worth exploring • Confident with big dogs • Great with kids — limited exposure, but she loved the children she met • Social & outgoing — she wants to be part of everything happening around her At ~30 lbs, she’s a perfect medium-sized companion and still has some growing to do. 🏞 Why Denali Is Special Despite her rough beginnings, Denali’s heart is wide open. She has excellent behavior for a young pup and is well on her way to becoming a loyal, loving companion for life. She’s eager to learn, eager to bond, and eager to be someone’s adventure buddy. 💛 Denali Would Love: ✔ A home with time for training, play, and affection ✔ A dog friend to romp around with (optional, but she’d love it!) ✔ Kids or active adults to share fun and companionship ✔ Someone who wants a social, happy, people-loving dog 🌟 She’s growing up waiting — but she shouldn’t have to. Denali is ready to be chosen. Ready to be loved. Ready to start her life with a family who sees the sweet, playful, confident girl she already is. If you’re looking for a joyful pup who will bring endless smiles, Denali might just be your perfect match. 💕🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Atlas 💙 | 6-Month-Old Cattle Dog Mix | 35 lbs | Bundle of Energy | Incredibly Smart Atlas is a stunning 6-month-old heeler mix who came to us from one of our rural rescue partners—and she’s been winning hearts ever since. With her speckled coat, bright eyes, and classic cattle dog personality, Atlas is the perfect mix of playful puppy and loving companion. True to her working breed, Atlas is incredibly smart. Atlas will thrive when given enough mental and physical stimulation in her forever home. She will do best with an active dog sibling (or siblings - she's all about playtime!), playful kids, and/or an active owner. What Atlas is like in foster care: • 🚗 Great car rider — settles in and rides like a pro • 🧠 Smart & food-motivated — eager to learn and not a hint of food guarding • 🍪 Manners in progress — she’ll need continued training around patience (especially in the kitchen!) • 🧸 Toy lover — squeakers are her absolute favorite • 🐕 Dog-friendly — plays beautifully with her 8-year-old foster sibling and responds well to gentle corrections. Has been around small dogs to large and does very well! • 👯 Balanced energy — happy to zoom around or entertain herself with toys • 🥰 People-oriented cuddler — true to her heeler roots, she wants to be right next to you at bedtime The important stuff: • ✔️ Crate trained • ✔️ Walks great on leash • ✔️ Potty training in progress • ✔️ Very playful and affectionate • ✔️ Adoption-ready! Atlas would thrive in a home ready to embrace a smart, active puppy and continue building her training and confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who can keep up during the day and snuggle close at night, Atlas might be your girl. 🐾💙 👉 Apply to adopt this absolute doll of a dog! ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
