Story
Meet Rascal:  Rascal is a 4 year old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that weighs around 41 pounds.  Rascal was rescued from a high kill shelter a day before she was to be euthanized.  Rascal loves attention and is very sweet.  Rascal can be dog selective but has no reaction to cats. We recommend older children because Rascal is energetic and sometimes jumps on you. Overall Rascal is a nice girl...just needs some work and stability. Rascal is house and crate trained but needs some work on her leash walking. Rascal will need a fenced in yard where she can run and a family that is very active and experienced. Rascal will make a great dog in the right home. Rascal is up to date on all her shots and spayed. If you were interested in adopting this sweet girl, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application. Story
Hi there! I`m Toretto!Besides being super fast, I`m a really nice guy! My original family wasn`t able to take me with them when they moved, so I was surrendered to the shelter. I eventually found a new family and spent five wonderful years with them, but when their circumstances changed, I found myself back at the shelter once again.Stability is really important to me, and I`m hoping to find a forever home where I can finally put down roots for good. I`m open to living with people of all ages and have experience living with cats. While I have lived with other dogs in the past, I can be reactive toward unfamiliar dogs and need an experienced handler. Having my own space helps me feel comfortable and secure.I ride well in the car and enjoy outdoor adventures like hiking, jogging, and exploring with my people. I may be older now, but I still have plenty of pep in my step and love staying active. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who`s ready to settle into a loving home for good, I might just be the perfect match for you!--If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Bonnie is available for foster or adoption! She is a sweet girl that is looking for a patient home to help her become the best version of herself! She was found abandoned on a farm with another dog, so we are unsure of her history. She is currently in a temporary foster home and is thriving! She is great with all dogs and does well with a senior and calm cat in the home, as well as sheep through the fence. She is house trained and is doing well with crate training. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you think she may be the perfect match for your family please fill out a foster or adoption application! Applications are available online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch!June 16, 2026, 2:02 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Let me introduce you to Annie ❤️   Annie is a beautiful Red Heeler with a heart to match. While she’s been raising her puppies, she’s also been showing everyone exactly who she is—and it’s something special.   Her foster mom says if she didn’t already have five dogs of her own, Annie would be staying. That alone tells you everything you need to know.   Annie has all the best traits of a cattle dog—she’s smart, attentive, loyal, and deeply connected to her people. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world, whether that’s helping you with daily life or simply being by your side.   And underneath that classic Heeler intelligence is a very sweet, gentle soul. She’s loving, steady, and has done an incredible job raising her puppies.   Annie is ready for a home of her own now—a place where she’s not just the mama, but someone’s heart dog.   If you know and love the spirit of a good cattle dog, Annie may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.   Apply to adopt Annie and give this wonderful girl the life she deserves. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 1, 2026, 3:01 pm

Story
Meet Carmie! 💕 When Carmie came to OPH, we discovered she had a heart condition. After careful veterinary care, she received the right diagnosis and is now doing well with medication. Today, she's a happy, active young dog who doesn't let her condition slow her down. She loves car rides, outings, and meeting new people - especially the people part! A recent admirer described her joyful smile as looking like the Laughing Buddha, and we can definitely see it. Carmie is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Terrier, Boxer, and German Shepherd, with a great balance of energy and affection. She enjoys daily walks, sniffing adventures, and learning new things—especially when treats are involved. Like many young dogs, Carmie is still working on her manners and leash skills. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and eager to please. Squirrels and bunnies are still very exciting, and she would do best in a home without cats. We think she would thrive as an only dog to start. If you're looking for a loyal companion who greets every day with a happy smile and a "Let's go!" attitude, Carmie may be your perfect match. She's smart, silly, affectionate, and ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for.
