If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with an animal or multiple animals, please email us directly at info@animalhope.org or call us 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Meet Poppins – Ready to Find His Forever Home!Poppins is a sweet, energetic pup who's ready to find a loving home! He’s about 1 year and 4 months old and weighs around 53 lbs. As a large breed, he’s one of our longer-term residents, so while his adoption fee is normally $300, we can be flexible — you’re welcome to name your own fee!Poppins has done well with all adult humans he has met, but we do not recommend him with children under 12 years old. He currently enjoys spending time with another dog his size here at the facility — they love to play together the whole time they are outside with each other! However, he can be a bit selective with other animals, so proper introductions are recommended.If you’re ready to open your heart to a loyal, playful companion, Poppins would love to meet you!We do not see these animals in home settings so we cannot guarantee if they are housebroken or not.On intake we: spay/neuter, microchip, update all vaccinations, a blood/fecal sample (if anything comes out positive we treat it), on a flea/tick and heartworm prevention and we give a free wellness exam 7-10 days from the day of adoption.You must live within an hour of our facility and be at least 21 or older in order to adopt. Rigby is a one year old Australian shepherd mix. He is super energetic and is always down to go hiking or explore. When it is chill time he loves to cuddle and be close to his people. Rigby would do best in a single dog home as he has a tendency to be territorial over his things. He loves cats and children. Rigby is truly a great dog.

Story
Charly is a female, two year old Aussie/Heeler. Her birthday is 12/24/23. She has a very energetic and playful personality that my schedule unfortunately doesn't align with. She loves toys, walks, and belly rubs. She played well with her brothers but has not been around other dogs outside of vet visits, however she did not seem aggressive toward them. Similarly, she has never shown any food aggression and instead waits patiently for her bowl to be filled. However, she can be wary of strangers and needs time to warm up to them. My full-time job has me away for 9-10 hours a day and she is potty trained to stay inside or, weather permitting, has zero escape attempts from the backyard. She is a velcro dog at heart though and wants to shadow her people, going wherever they go, so a home with more than just one person would be perfect so she isn't alone anymore.
