**COURTESY LISTING- THIS IS NOT AN EPIC DOG. PLEASE CONTACT CAN.ADOPTIONS@YAHOO.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION***   T illie is currently being professionally trained and her training will be completed mid-September.  Tillie is extremely intelligent, and we felt this training would be to her benefit.   PRECIOUS TILLIE!!  LOOK AT THOSE EARS!!!!!  Tillie is a medium sized dog and weighs approximately 37 pounds.  She is an Australian cattle dog mix, 18 months old, spayed, current on vaccinations and on heartworm preventative.  She is also microchipped.  Tillie was out of time at a local shelter and we just HAD to get her!   SMART!!  SMART!!  And LOVES to play fetch with you.  Here is a video of her with her "big stick" which she alternates with her "Tillie Ball".  She has a lot of playing to do and a lot of love to learn about.  Tillie will need an active home that will make her a real part of their family and take her with them where they are able.   For more information, please email Gail at can.adoptions@yahoo.com.   July 10, 2024, 12:04 pm

Story
Emmons (friends and family call her Emmy) is a 5 year old, 45 lb Red Heeler mix. She has the most beautiful markings and the cutest wagging, nubby tail! Super sweet and calm, very attentive, wants to be close to her human. Emmons is a bit bashful and cautious of her new environment, but she is showing a little more confidence and playfulness every day. Her face is very expressive and she's easy to read! She does her bashful look, happy look, big eyed surprised look, side-eye check-in look, and more. She is not interested in toys or chew bones yet, but she appreciates chicken feet, and is very interested in the snuffle mat. Emmons is a smart girl and listens and responds very well. She is house-broken and can be trusted with run of the house. She walks well on a leash and likes to sniff the neighborhood along the way. She also has great manners on car rides. She doesn't live with other dogs in her foster home, but we think she would be fine with another laid-back dog. Emmons is a cattle dog and may have tendencies to herd her people, so we are recommending no kids under the age of 6. Bottom line: Emmons is a wonderful girl that just wants someone to love and be loved back. Easy peasy little mama bear. The first step to meeting Emmons is to submit your application at www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Ruby is a 10 month old, 30 lb Blue Heeler mix, maybe with Border Collie or some type of Hound because she is very vocal, especially when she plays. Ruby has gorgeous amber eyes, and brindle markings. Foster mom says that Ruby is really good for being a puppy still! She is very smart and very food motivated, so she is easily treat trained. She knows "sit" and "lay" and occasionally will "shake paws." Ruby loves toy puzzles and the challenge of searching for and discovering her treat! She also likes to play with other dogs and toys and can entertain herself. "Chuck-it Ball" fetch is her favorite game, and she's good at it! Ruby loves to snuggle, but she can be a little possessive with the people she bonds with. Her fosters are training her to correct that behavior and to assure her there is plenty of love to go around! Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Hi, my name is Ladybug! I am a 3 month old, 15 lb Blue Heeler mix. My mama was rescued from a very bad place, then me and my littermates were born the next day in our very good foster home! Some of my favorite things include playing with my siblings and mama, snuggling with senior aunties and uncles, snuggles with people, racing, playing, and stretching out on foster mom's lap for tummy rubs and a nap. I have to confess that I have a thing for straws. I have figured out that if I steal foster mom's straw, she will chase after me and give me a treat when I give the straw back. Did I mention that I'm really smart?? I'm working very hard on housebreaking, and will have that down in no time. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Peep is a 3 month old, 15 lb Blue Heeler mix. We think Peep may be part Shepherd of some type because of his handsome black, shiny coat highlighted with tan and white markings. Peep is a is playful, smart, curious, cuddly, tail-wagging puppy. He gets along with all of his littermates as well as the resident dogs in his foster home. Like all puppies, he will need some training, supervision, good sturdy toys, and lots of cuddles and attention. Since Peep still has his sharp little baby teeth, we are recommending no kids under the age of 6. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.
