I am a very loving energetic girl who loves to go hiking and run around and chase flies and wasps ! I love being around children. They are my favorite and I love to watch them and keep them safe. This ACD is a very easy keeper and low maintenance. He has been an inside dog all of his life. He likes to hang out, chase the ball, and chase rabbits on occasion though he gives up quickly. He knows sit, down, crate, and "load" for truck or car loading. He is housebroke and crate trained. He is great with kids. He always preferred the grand kids when he stayed with us. He has never been destructive (I know, odd for a Heeler). He has a good recall, loves other people, but will guard the vehicle. He has never bitten anyone, but he can be a nipper like any cattle dog. The story is he belongs to my dad who can no longer care for him due to health reasons. Our current living situation does not permit pets or we would take him. We are looking for a good family or any good home to take him and let him live out his remaining years. He is 8 years old and in very good health. He does not need acres of land to run. He is low energy and easy to keep.
