Story
We are looking to rehome our dog to an adult-only home with no children. We rescued him in October 2025 when he was about a year old. He is a mix of Blue Heeler (about 50%), Lab, Pit Bull, and Chow Chow. He is very smart, loyal, and eager to work, and he bonds deeply with his person. Unfortunately, over the past month he has developed resource guarding behaviors toward me, which have escalated to aggression toward my kids. He has now bitten a guest, and for everyone’s safety, we cannot keep him in a home with children. That said, he has many wonderful qualities: • Loves other dogs, he would be happiest in a home with other dogs • Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped • Crate trained • House trained (never had a bathroom accident) • Professionally trained, knows all basic commands My kids stress him out, and it’s clear he would do much better in a quieter environment where he doesn’t feel the need to guard or protect.

Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Laney Wilson Laney is a super smart, 7 month-old Cattle Dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. We’re not sure how this sweet girl ended up at the Euless Shelter, but she’s now ready to find her forever home! Laney is an active pup who would thrive with an energetic person or family that can keep up with her zest for life. She gets along well with other dogs, and weighs about 28 pounds — expected to grow to around 40 pounds when full grown. True to her breed, Laney loves to herd, so a home without  children is best. She’ll make a wonderful companion for someone who understands and appreciates the loyal, intelligent, and driven nature of a Cattle Dog. She will need a home with a 6’ wooden fence If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and trainable pup to share adventures with, Laney is your girl! Interested? Story
Bandit will be 2 years old in June 2025. He has been a companion to my teenage son who is now experiencing health problems and unable to romp outside and regularly walk Bandit. I have arthritis and am not able to easily go up and down stairs to walk him several times daily. (We are apartment dwellers) He is crate trained and his large collapsible crate and toys may go with Bandit. He now spends 4-6 hours a day in the crate but prefers to be more active. He is house trained will use a pet door and/or go on pet artificial grass pad. Adoption fee is to weed out those not willing to spend bit to get and maintain healthy pet. He has been neutered; shots just recently expired (2 months ago) He lives with two cats and does occasionally bark or chase them - has never tried to hurt them but does enjoy getting a reaction from them at times. He plays bit mouthy and enjoys chew toys - kong treats. He is a sweet boy who needs a more active home or yard to romp. Thanks.

Story
I NEED A FOSTER or ADOPTER! Breed: Cattle Dog/Pit Bull/Husky Adoption Fee: Free (SPONSORED by a generous donor.) Age: 1 year | Weight: 50 lbs Phoenix is the sweetest, happiest boy, despite everything he has been through. Phoenix was rescued from a high kill shelter with extensive wounds due to abuse and neglect. He had a very rough start to life, but is learning what it is like to be secure, safe, taken care of, and loved. Phoenix is the perfect mix of chill and playful—he’s just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is romping around the yard. He’s incredibly people-oriented and always ready to match your energy, whether that’s a lazy Sunday or an active afternoon. He is goofy, silly, fun, and sure to put a smile on your face! Making people laugh is his favorite pastime. In his foster home, Phoenix enjoys playing with other medium-to-large dogs, but he does best with slow introductions to new dog friends. His protective nature makes him unsuitable for a home with children, but he will thrive in an adult-only home where he can feel safe and loved. With his sweet eyes and signature prance, Phoenix is guaranteed to steal your heart. He’s vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cuddle hard and play harder, Phoenix is your guy.

Meet Major ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. When we asked Major’s foster mom to describe him her first word was “extrovert.” He is super social and loves people! He is an Australian Shepherd and he’s almost a year old and 45 lbs. Major is super smart however he does like to bark in his kennel when his foster family is at work. We think a family who has someone who works from home or has a stay at home parent would make him extremely happy. Major is housetrained and he’s fine with other dogs however he can be annoying to them if they do not like to play as much as he does! Major is such a beautiful boy so we hope he catches a new family’s eye soon! We know he will be the perfect fit for a family. and we are here to help him find it! If you would like to meet Major, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application.
