UPDATE 9/11/23. TILLIE HAS JUST GRADUATED FROM BOARD AND TRAIN! She played with at least 5 dogs there, knows her commands, and is ready for her forever home! Tillie is VERY active and would be best suited with another doggie playmate in her new home. OR perhaps someone who would like to train with her for agility or some other event. Tillie is exceptionally smart! PRECIOUS TILLIE!! LOOK AT THOSE EARS!!!!! Tillie is a medium sized dog and weighs approximately 37 pounds. She is an Australian cattle dog mix, 9 months old, spayed, current on vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. She is also microchipped. Tillie was out of time at a local shelter and we just HAD to get her! SMART!! SMART!! And LOVES to play fetch with you. Here is a video of her with her "big stick" which she alternates with her "Tillie Ball". She has a lot of playing to do and a lot of love to learn about. Just a boy and his ball. What a big, beautifully marked boy that will play ball till your arm hurts. He knows all the basic commands and walks great on a leash! He will entertain you with rollover and shake. All you need are some treats, and, in a few minutes, he will learn a new command or trick. He's looking for a foster or adopter and promises to be a good boy! Fella is a sweet, faced boy; just look at those freckles. He is a well behaved and gets along with other dogs and people. Like many dogs he has a prey drive for his fellow cats. Fella likes people, even though he plays it cool for a bit, he will show you his goofy side and loyal heart of gold in no time. Making new dog friends is not always easy for him. He's a big strong guy and can be a bit intimidating at first. He has lived with other dogs and with time and proper introductions he could be part of a pack. He loves car rides, enjoys a good walk and likes to play ball. Fella went in for photographs and was just a perfect gentleman. He made himself right at home in the studio. He just loves to be near people. Looked like life had been rough on this fella, he had patchy fur and calloused knees. Despite that he was affectionate and sweet. Fella was left to be euthanized at the shelter after adopter surrendered and the "rescue" turned their back on him because "they just don't take big dogs anymore". This boy deserves better. Evie is a 10 month old, 47 lb Cattle Dog mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. She has the most unique and beautiful markings. She even has some brindle mixed in with the black, but it's a little difficult to see in the photos. Evie is happy and friendly, and she has never met a person or other dog she didn't like. She attended a restaurant patio get-together the other evening, and she was friendly with everyone she met! She loves to play wrestle and chase with the other dogs in her foster home, but she also loves to get cuddles from her people. Evie doesn't think she is too big to be a lap dog! She is very smart and always ready to learn something new, especially if a little treat is offered as a reward. Evie will definitely do best in a home with another playful dog. Ellie has been waiting patiently for her forever home, and we can't figure out why she is still waiting. Ellie is 100% the sweetest pup ever!! She is a 9-month-old Cattle Dog/Rottweiler mix pup, but breed mix is just our best guess. Ellie is sweet natured, smart, and friendly with everyone she meets, people and dogs included. She has attended lots of Humane Tomorrow events including a restaurant patio get-together and a dog fair at a local park. She was friendly with everyone she met, and welcomed as many tummy rubs as she could get. She loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another playful companion dog. One amazing thing about Ellie is that foster mom says that she is the most well behaved puppy she has ever seen. She has her toys and chews, and has not touched anything else in the house. Ellie doesn't live with kids at her foster home, but she has been around several, and she is great with them. She enjoys playing with her foster siblings and she enjoys napping. She will cuddle on the couch if you want her to, but if the furniture is off limits, she is fine with that as well. Ellie is smart, fun, and just wants to know she is in a loving safe environment.
