Dahlia is a loving, loyal, and very goofy girl. She is always down to play with her favorite toys, a racquet ball or tennis ball, squeaky stuffed animals or a cardboard box, she just loves to play with you. She also loves to run so a yard is a must. At night after a long walk, she loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep until it’s time for bed. Dahlia was adopted July 2022 and was a little over a year old, so i think her birthday is about June 2021. She is anxious around other dogs so would need to be the only one in the house, but I think with time and training, it’s fixable. She was attacked so she is skeptical of unfamiliar dogs. She has never been around a cat so i’m not sure how she would react around them. As for children, smaller children make her nervous since they’re so close to her face and she can get a little over excited and jumpy so it’s best to have older kids in a house. Dahlia now knows sit, down, stay(sometimes), still learning “come” but she loves learning. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Sunny just turned 5 years old on March 8th. She is a sweet loving dog, very calm most of the time,though she does like to play. She is goofy and always has me laughing. She loves to cuddle, and is trained by a collar. She get excited when she is around new people and is always trying to play with other dogs. She always comforts me when I am sad, and cheers me up by giving me her favorite toy. Also it says there is an application fee, I do not want it I just don't know how to remove it from the post. She needs a good home. I am willing to meet if a longer drive is needed. She has an appointment to get shots up to date.
