Story
Say hello to Mr. Social, a lively 2-year-old Australian Kelpie mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile! This mid-sized, black and tan neutered boy is bursting with energy and charm. True to his name, Mr. Social loves to be around people and is always ready to brighten your day. Mr. Social adores taking walks and being outside, making him the perfect companion for an active family. While he would be okay in an apartment or a house, he would thrive best in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can run around and play to his heart's content. This playful pup loves milk bone treats and is always eager to give and receive hugs. He has a selective preference for other dogs, so a meet and greet is necessary to ensure he finds the right canine companions. Mr. Social is not just energetic and playful but also makes a wonderful family dog. He is sure to bring endless joy, love, and laughter to his forever home. Adopt Mr. Social today and let this happy, hug-loving Kelpie mix become the newest member of your family!

Story
We got Luna from a rescue and she is an absolute doll and we fell in love immediately. She’s been very playful and loved hanging out with our cat and other dog. She’s been very gentle around young kids of my friends and family (5 and below). She loves to play fetch, cuddle, and be around people. She has a little too much energy for our schedule so we’re looking for a home that has plenty of energy and love to share with her. She’s about 18 months and is an absolute sweetheart. Come check her out! She comes with kennel, food, and toys. She is best for a farm or ranch. She’s great at running long distances with energy to spare and wants to have a job.

Story
Dahlia is a loving, loyal, and very goofy girl. She is always down to play with her favorite toys, a racquet ball or tennis ball, squeaky stuffed animals or a cardboard box, she just loves to play with you. She also loves to run so a yard is a must. At night after a long walk, she loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep until it’s time for bed. Dahlia was adopted July 2022 and was a little over a year old, so i think her birthday is about June 2021. She is anxious around other dogs so would need to be the only one in the house, but I think with time and training, it’s fixable. She was attacked so she is skeptical of unfamiliar dogs. She has never been around a cat so i’m not sure how she would react around them. As for children, smaller children make her nervous since they’re so close to her face and she can get a little over excited and jumpy so it’s best to have older kids in a house. Dahlia now knows sit, down, stay(sometimes), still learning “come” but she loves learning. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Dahlia is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.June 15, 2024, 10:43 am
