Hello, We unfortunately have to travel more to visit grandchildren and wish to rehome our mini toy Aussie we have had for 2 years. We obtained Lucy thru a post on facebook. Which was quickly taken down! She was picked up by our college daughter, picked up in Missouri. We and our Vet think she was used for breeding and she aged out. She is approx 4-5 years old. She is a sweet, but a very playful dog. She has too much energy for us, close to 60 years old. She lived in a home of many dogs and children. She has never bit a child in our home, but has bit an adult. She seems take longer to warm up to men, but now loves my husband. She will try to herd and protect her territory, naturally. She is up to date on vaccines, and we had her spayed recently and chipped as well! She is ready for you! She is perfect for someone with active kids that play and run with her. She will needs some kind, gentle love at first to get to know her. Then she will go everywhere you go!

Story

Maverick is a loving and energetic dog. It has been around children and other dogs and is good with them. Maverick does not want to leave his home but will stay around if loose and comes if called. Previous owner states he is good with an invisible fence. He loves to play tug of war and keep away. He needs things to do or others to play with. His worse habit is taking food from the counter which my other dog taught him. He is very trainable and very smart. He is a runt of the litter and will not grow to full size and will remain a medium size.

I got Plum from a shelter, and was told she was rescued from a puppy mill. She was extremely skittish when I got her and it became clear that she was abused before. She is still skittish now, just not as much but it will definitely require patience. She is technically potty trained as long as you keep her on a schedule, otherwise she will just go in the house. She is also really intense about food, not food aggressive but there have been times where she has continued to stuff herself until she threw up, and she will eat poop if the opportunity presents itself. Otherwise she is a very sweet dog, she is a bit scared around new people and regularly jumpy even when she is comfortable, but she warms up to people quickly. She has no problem with other dogs and kids. She has been around cats but the cats were hiding so I do not know how comfortable she is with them. She sheds a lot, but she is okay with being brushed and having her nails clipped.

Happy and sweet senior pup Scooter needs a forever family. Somewhere between 10 and 14 years old, Scooter is pretty energetic for his years, but he certainly loves relaxing too. He’s an Australian shepherd who really enjoys playing ball. He’s all about the chase, but isn’t always convinced it’s a good idea to bring the ball back! Scooter is very good in the house. He doesn’t chew or bother anything. He’s potty trained, but needs plenty of breaks to go outside. He gets along great with his canine foster sibling and pretty much adores everyone he meets. Scooter would love a home with someone around a lot. He absolutely wants to be near his person as much as he can. He would love a home with a physical, fenced yard. He’d be fine with another dog but would be totally OK as the only pup in the house. Sweet Scooter is being fostered in the St. Louis area. ##2378226##

Dottie is such a sweet puppy. This Australian shepherd mix likes to run and play, especially with other dogs. Even if they don’t love her, she is utterly smitten with them! Dottie has some vision impairment in one eye, but she can see hand signals and respond to voice commands. She’s working on “sit” and is so bright, we know she’ll be the smartest kid in the class in no time. Dottie is working on potty training and walking on a leash. She’s good in her crate, but it’s not her very favorite place to hang out. She would love a home with a physical, fenced yard where someone is around most of the day. She would be over the moon if she had a friendly dog pal to hang out with. This very sweet puppy is being fostered in the St. Louis area. ##2419768##
