Looking for a playful little sidekick who will fill your days with puppy kisses, laughter, and plenty of adventures? Meet Dax, an adorable 2-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with handsome Aussie markings, a short coat, and a personality that's just as cute as he is!
Dax is everything you'd expect from a happy, curious puppy! He loves exploring his surroundings, playing with toys, romping around with his puppy friends, and discovering all the exciting things the world has to offer. Whether he's chasing a toy, investigating something new, or enjoying a little puppy mischief, Dax is always finding ways to make life fun.
But don't let all that playful energy fool you—Dax has a sweet, snuggly side, too! After a busy day of puppy adventures, he loves curling up with his people for some cuddle time. He's the kind of little guy who will happily trade playtime for a cozy snuggle when he's ready to recharge.
Dax is a social little pup! He does well with children, other dogs, and cats. He's curious about his feline friends, but he's still learning about the world around him. He especially enjoys having other dogs to play with and would love a home with a friendly canine companion, although that isn't a requirement.
Like any young puppy, Dax is still learning the ropes! He'll need a family committed to potty training, teaching good manners, socialization, and helping him grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult dog. As an Aussie mix, he'll likely enjoy an active lifestyle with plenty of opportunities to exercise, play, and keep his curious mind busy as he grows.

Dax would love a family who enjoys spending time together, playing outside, and making their dog part of everyday life. A home with room to run and play would be wonderful, and another friendly dog to share adventures with would be a bonus!
Most importantly, Dax needs a loving family who understands that puppies take time, patience, consistency, and lots of love. In return, he'll bring endless entertainment, sweet snuggles, and the special joy of watching a puppy grow into a beloved family companion.

This dog is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. Please note that we cannot hold dogs for any reason.
Please only apply if you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into your home within five days of approval.

Microchip registered to 24 Pet Watch for free
DHPP Vaccine series
Bordetella Vaccine
Leptospirosis Vaccine series
Rabies vaccine
4DX Heartworm test (7 months of age or older)
Spay/Neuter (performed at one of our partner veterinarians as scheduled by the rescue)
General wellness care (includes deworming, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention)
