That's me, Calypso! My favorite things are to chase after my foster brother, be anywhere near my foster mom, and nap! My breed is notorious for intelligence and high energy, so I would really love my fur-ever home to do at home or even professional training classes with me to keep me engaged and active. I'm just a baby, so I'm still learning all things I need to know to be the best dog I can be! I sleep really well in a crate at night when I'm in close proximity to my foster mom, but I'm not the biggest fan of the crate during the day, so I might cry when you leave. My foster mom is working on this with me so I can feel comfortable in the crate all by myself! I love my foster brother and any other dogs I meet, but I can sometimes be too much for them, so any dog in my fur-ever home should be able to tolerate my puppy antics. If you have a cat, I'm leaning to respect them and their space, but I really just want to play! I love all people I meet, so kids should be no exception! Of course, I still have sharp puppy teeth, so any tiny human in my home should be a little older so no one accidentally gets hurt. I'm still getting the hang of this potty training thing, so I might still have a few accidents in the house. But my foster mom says I'm getting better with it every day! I've already been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and micro-chipped.   Adoption Process: Step 1:    Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:    PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:    IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. &#226&#128&#139Step 4:   If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This cutie is Louise!  Louise originally came to SAAP as a tiny puppy and she has grown into an absolutely adorable, spunky girl. Her family was no longer able to care for her so SAAP was happy to take her back to help her find her best fit home.  I will update this post as I learn more about Louise! Here is what we know so far: 1.5 years old Currently 19 pounds but she needs to gain about 5 Australian shepherd or border collie mix Sweet as can be to all sizes of people Could not care less about our cat The adopter had issues potty training her, specifically peeing in her crate. We are planning to do a potty training boot camp this week to see if it gives her a lightbulb moment. We will be the weirdos outside loudly praising every potty - don't mind us. February 23, 2024, 4:28 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Armadillo is full of puppy fun. Foster mom has nicknamed him "Armie". He LOVES other dogs and would love to be in a home with another pup or have other pups in his life to play with. He’s a respectful player with dogs of all sizes, his foster family has dogs from 10lbs to 100lbs and ranging in age from 4 months to 13 years, so he’s been exposed to a full range of personalities! He is very comfortable in the crate and sleeps through the night. He hasn’t had accidents yet in the foster home, but he will need continued positive reinforcement on his house training. Armie is full of love and ready to find his forever. Could it be with you?February 23, 2024, 4:28 pm
