Finley, a miniature Australian Shepherd is a wonderful and loving dog. Unfortunately, because I now am traveling so much for work he does not get the time and attention that he deserves. He has been great around my grandkids and loves to play. When he is boarded, he does great at group play with other dogs. I am looking for someone that will give him a loving home and the attention that he craves.

Story
Leo is a very active 4 year old Australian Shepherd. We got him from a farm in Kentucky when he was 8 wks old. He’s a very loving boy who loves to go on walks, chase balls and chew on bones. He can be dog selective and tends to be more dominant. We love him very much but are looking to rehome him after he recently bit his owner. We are unsure what caused the bite as it wasn’t resource related. We are expecting our first child and can’t have another bite. He has been good with kids previously but for this reason I think he should be in a home without children.

Meet Maisey — the happiest little shadow you never knew you needed 💕 Maisey is an Australian Shepherd mix with a permanent smile and a heart big enough for every human, dog, and possibly the entire neighborhood. She greets life with full-body wiggles and believes strangers are simply friends she hasn’t leaned on yet. She absolutely adores other dogs and people, and while she’s still deciding what, exactly, a cat is, she’s keeping an open mind. Maisey has a playful streak and may occasionally “borrow” toys and bones, but she’s a gentle thief — if her foster brother files a complaint, she usually surrenders the goods without much protest. Walk time is a work in progress. When she spots a person or pup, Maisey rises onto her hind legs and performs a tiny ballerina dance of joy in an attempt to get closer immediately. She is currently studying the fine art of “walking politely” but enthusiasm keeps interrupting. Her manners are improving daily! She sometimes jumps up when excited or when she suspects someone else is receiving more attention than she is legally comfortable with. If attention levels drop below acceptable standards, Maisey will simply drape her entire body across you like a weighted blanket of love. Despite her joyful personality, Maisey is mostly a quiet girl. She’ll speak up briefly if she needs attention, then returns to her preferred communication style: leaning, snuggling, and loving you with her whole self. Maisey will need continued leash and manners training however she learns quickly with repeated corrections. *She’s great in the yard, no digging or escaping. In summary: ✔ Professional joy distributor ✔ Toy borrower with excellent conflict resolution skills ✔ Part-time ballerina, full-time love sponge ✔ Quiet companion with premium cuddle settings Maisey is ready to bring laughter, warmth, and a little extra Velcro-style affection to her forever home. 💕 Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
