Story
Kiara is a beautiful 9 year old Australian Shepherd looking for a new home!! She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. I recently had to move and she is not adjusting well sadly and I have tried everything. She right now is having some urinary issues, the vet has ruled out a UTI multiple times so we believe it is just behavioral at this point. An ideal home for her would be one with a yard and the only dog in the house because she loves attention! But she is so great with kids and cats!! Hoping her new family is out there to give her all the love!!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Laika is an energetic and affectionate Aussie/Collie mix with a medium coat and the brightest blue eyes! When she first came into foster care, she was nervous and protective, but with patience, gentle reassurance, and lots of treats, she now follows me around everywhere! O nce she feels comfortable, her sweet and playful personality shines through.    Laika loves curling up at your feet for naps and often checks back in for attention when outside, showing just how loving and loyal she can be. She is still learning the ropes of meeting new people and dogs—she can be reactive/vocal at first, so slow introductions are key. Due to her breed, she is a high-energy pup. Laika thrives on playtime, often chasing squeaky toys and playing fetch, or running around with our resident Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Laika knows basic commands and is potty trained. She is very food motivated and is therefore eager to keep learning.   With continued training, patience, and love, Laika has the potential to be a loyal and cuddly companion who will bring both laughter and energy to her future furever home!   Laikia is from an Owner Surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Cosmo (we call her Ellie), the delightful Aussie mix who defines "wiggle butt" with her perpetually spinning tail and signature butt curl! This affectionate girl is eager to please, thrives on praise, and adores treats. Ellie’s biggest wish is to be by her people – she gets sad when left alone and loves being a part of all the family fun. She does need to be the only dog in the home. She’s a curious observer of her foster cat brothers and does well with supervised interactions! Ellie is a sensitive soul who is making great strides with her anxiety and reactive behaviors in her foster home. She'll flourish in a calm environment with a firm, loving hand to guide her. She starts her day with an early potty break and breakfast in a slow feeder, often followed by snuggle time with her dad. She enjoys mid-morning play and crate time in the living room while her foster mom does chores, content just to be near. She doesn't like being left alone in another room, preferring to be side-by-side with her humans. Evenings are for snuggles, movies, and her beloved Kong toy, which she carries everywhere! Ellie is friendly but cautious with new people, quickly warming up to offer endless love and hilarious tail wags. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, devoted girl who promises a lifetime of snuggles and entertainment, Ellie is waiting for you! al better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own! A Note from the Foster: Sweetie lives up to her name. She is full of love and ready to find her forever home. She’s got a beautiful white coat and is working on finding the right ways to show her abundance of love and happiness. Sweetie thinks she’s a lap dog and loves to lounge on the futon or the couch while snuggling her person. At 20 months she still has some puppy energy in her and burns that off playing chase with the resident dog in the backyard. Sweetie gets along well with other dogs about her same size. She doesn’t quite understand personal space and that she’s a bit bigger. She would be good as an only dog or with a sidekick to show her the ropes. Sweetie might be a bit much with younger kids but good for older kids that are active and love to play outside. Sweetie does have limited vision however she has adapted well to her foster home without accommodation. She does fine getting around without assistance and does the stairs without issues. Sweetie is still working on learning to take walks on a leash. Her vision and lack of confidence comes out. A fenced yard would be great for Sweetie. Her foster mom says Sweetie loves to run laps around the leaf piles in the backyard and has become comfortable navigating the yard on her own. Sweetie really is a sweetheart trying to live her best life. She loves to give licks and nose boops. Sweetie loves to carry her toys around the house and an occasional shoe or 2 have been found in her bed.
