You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $350 plus taxMeet Lulu, her curious nature keeps her exploring, sniffing out new adventures in every corner. Lulu's intelligence is evident in her quick learning of commands and tricks, while her loyalty is unquestionable, always returning to your side. She's full of energy, making her the perfect companion for active individuals or couples. Lulu does need slower intros with other dogs. Please note, Lulu would do best in a home without children. Adopting Lulu means gaining a loving, loyal friend who will fill your days with joy and activity.    Lulu would do just fine by herself. She would also be great with a fenced area. People coming in and out would take a little while for her to get used to them, but with loving family and affection it'll work. She is very quiet when there's no excitement happening. Lulu loves walking alongside or near you.Lulu has never been around cats so we are unsure of how she would be with them- she does like to chase bunnies and squirrels in the yard. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Hi everyone! My name is Alexis but my foster family calls me Lexi. I’m about a 5 1/2 year old mini Aussie with a heart of gold. I can be very shy when I first meet you but will warm up quickly. I'm unsure of my foster dogs and ignores the cats completely. I am potty trained and will go to the door or pace when i need to go out. I only had one accident but my foster mom thinks it’s because I was so scared. I love being outside. I have a fenced in yard so haven’t had much experience on a leash yet. I greet people when they come to visit and love the compliments and pets i get. Unsure of how she’d handle children. I haven’t been around little kids but I don’t like loud noises so I don’t think I’d do very good. I’m a snuggle bug and will give kisses, if you ask. I will go into my kennel but I prefer to be where my people are. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Here's what makes Maxx so special: A Ball of Fun: Maxx is brimming with energy and always up for a good time. He'll keep you on your toes with his playful spirit. Loves Company: This friendly pup gets along with everyone – adults, kids, and other dogs. He'd especially love a canine companion in his new home to learn from and play with. Potty Training in Progress: Maxx is still mastering the art of going potty outside, but he thrives on a consistent schedule and uses pee pads indoors when needed. Story
Hi, I’m Moose! I’m a herding breed mix of some kind born 10/7/23!  My siblings and I just moved to Minnesota from Lake Traverse, MI!  I am very energetic and always looking to play!  I’m friendly with everyone; adults, kids, dogs, cats.  Any person I meet immediately becomes my best friend!  I bark sometimes when other dogs are playing rambunctiously or when I get scared.  I like to make my foster mom laugh by talking back to her when she tells me to be quiet.  I typically prefer to be cuddled up with my people.  I am still learning how to go potty outside and do well on a schedule.  I sleep in my crate, and I am quiet at night.  I’ve mastered leash walking but want to sniff EVERYTHING on my walks.  If you’re interested in meeting me, let me know!  I’d love to meet you!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. I’m an eager-to-please 8 yr old Aussie mix looking for a new home since my human had to move to an Assisted Living facility. I am a very smart boy and loyal companion who loves to go for walks, follow commands and keep an eye on things out the front door.     I have a lot of skills including being house trained, crate trained and also know a few basic commands.     My Aussie breed makes me protective of my surroundings, so a home with no other pets or small humans would be best.     I can’t wait to get settled in my new home, will it be yours?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Story
Little Miss Molly is a super sweet Aussie who was born 7/23/23. She came from a dirty, neglectful situation causing her to lose some hair on her face and legs from itching. She's getting healthy and happy and will soon be all fluffy and look adorable with a black and white face! Molly has some separation anxiety but sleeps all night in her kennel but only if able to see you, or she will bark and cry. During the day she does not do well for long in her kennel, but instead loves to curl up on her own bed napping or quietly playing with toys in her foster mom's office while she works. Her favorite time of the day is when the kids (4 & 6) are home from school. She loves to lick their faces and wants to play, but gets a little nippy trying to get attention, but not painfully and does well with correction so she's learning fast. Molly is food motivated and will sit for a treat and will take it so politely. She loves belly rubs and getting her fluffy fur stroked while laying next to you on the couch. She is still a puppy so loves chewing on toys or things the kids leave on the floor, but always gracefully gives them back when taken away. Molly is mostly potty trained with some minor accidents as she learns to tell us. She does well on a leash but loves being in the backyard, watching the birds, squirrels, and bunnies. She is learning to come when called if treats are involved! Molly does well with other dogs but loves to be around everyone in the family. She's a lovable puppy ready to meet her forever family!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
