Derpy—true to his name—is one giant, lovable goofball. This 10-month-old mixed breed is already around 60 pounds and stands about 22 inches tall, with plenty of growing (and silliness) still ahead of him. He is extremely friendly, playful, happy, and always excited to see what the day brings. Derpy is a super sweet boy who loves making friends and does well with other dogs. He would likely do fine with kids, though his enthusiastic and bouncy nature means he may accidentally knock over smaller children.

Chase is a 10-week-old Border Collie mix with a classic black-and-white coat and an irresistibly sweet nature. He may take a brief moment to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s affectionate, friendly, and full of puppy charm. Chase is playful and curious, currently learning the basics like walking on a leash and sitting, and he’s eager to keep learning.When playtime is over, Chase’s favorite place is right next to you—he loves to snuggle and soak up affection. He does great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and would truly thrive in a home with another friendly dog to help guide him and show him the ropes

Medium About Gordy: Hi, my name is Gordy! I also respond to Gordo, Gordito, Sir Gordon, and Cheesy Gordita Crunch. I am an adorable border collie/lab mix who wants nothing more than a home to call my own--and, preferably, a ball to call my own as well. I LOVE to chase balls, and if no balls are around, I'll make do with chasing anything you throw for me--stuffies, sticks, ropes... the options are endless. My foster mom says that I'm amazingly well adjusted given my relatively rough history. I was 1 of 16 (!!) dogs rescued from a local home, and I haven't had the best care before now. For example, you might notice that I have a bit of a limp due to a wonky front foot. The vet says that this is likely caused by a ruptured tendon that didn't heal right. Fortunately, it doesn't slow me down at all! I also recently had 8 front teeth removed, including 3 of my canines, which were all fractured, likely from biting at the bars of a crate. Still, nothing can bring down my happy-go-lucky personality (except, of course, when my foster mom puts away my ball for the night). Something else you should know about me is that I tested positive for two tick-borne diseases, Anaplasmosis and Lyme. I received treatment and I don’t have any signs of chronic Lyme infection - which is AMAZING news! I will likely continue to test positive for both of these for the rest of my life due to chronic antibodies. It is possible that I could develop side effects from Lyme later in my life but for now I’m a happy and healthy boy! Here's a bit more from my foster mom: An ideal home for Gordy would be one that can give him lots of mental and physical stimulation. He really enjoys chewing on bones and bully sticks, playing tug with toys, and playing fetch. He's also a smart boy and has picked up on sit, lay down, and crate up very quickly. We're working on some new commands for him to show off! I think he'd do great with someone who enjoys having a dog that can be a companion to them on a variety of adventures! Gordy is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Charlotte — the tiniest, sweetest little bean who thinks she’s 50% cuddle bug and 50% chaos gremlin. She’s soft, snuggly, and absolutely convinced your lap is the center of the universe. She  might  still get a little nippy around food (girl loves her snacks, okay?), but she’s learning that fingers are not appetizers. Charlotte is putting on weight slow and steady, like a dainty little marshmallow in the making. Potty training is going shockingly well for someone roughly the size of a mitten braving the cold. She’s learning to toddle around the house with the big dogs and even snoozed right next to them like a brave little loaf. She’s discovered toys now and has politely informed everyone that chewing is her new personality. With how quickly she’s growing stronger, full-on puppy playdates with the resident dogs are basically scheduled for next week. Charlotte may be tiny, but she’s got big “I’m gonna be trouble soon” energy — and we love her for it. Charlotte is from a local impound. History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own! A Note from the Foster: Meet Owen - a spunky, 10-week-old puppy who is eager to find his forever home. He’s playful, curious and sometimes cautious as he explores his new world, entertains himself with a toy, wrestles with his brother and cuddles with his people. Owen is just getting started with potty training but is catching on. He sleeps in the crate at night and will happily take breaks there during the day. Mealtime is one of his favorite things! His love of food will be a great tool as he starts to work on training and commands. As with all young puppies, Owen will benefit from continued socialization and plenty of positive reinforcement as he grows. He’s a very sweet boy and will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to guide him through puppyhood and beyond!
