Are you looking for a high-energy, fun-loving companion to join you on all of life’s adventures? Look no further than Blizzard! This 6-month-old neutered male Aussie mix is bursting with energy, enthusiasm, and charm. Blizzard is a friendly and excitable pup who thrives on activity and engagement. Whether it’s a hike, a run, or an afternoon of playtime, he’s ready to be by your side. His food motivation makes him a great candidate for future training, and he’s eager to learn new tricks and skills. Blizzard does well with other dogs after a proper introduction and enjoys canine companionship. While we’re unsure about his compatibility with cats, his youthful curiosity and energetic demeanor might make him better suited to a home without small children, as he could accidentally knock them over in his excitement.Blizzard would be the perfect match for an active family or individual who’s ready to keep up with his adventurous spirit. If you’re ready for endless tail wags, outdoor escapades, and a lifetime of memories, Blizzard is your guy!Come meet Blizzard and see if he’s the missing piece to your family.

Story
Asher will be 3 in April. We purchased him at 8 weeks old through puppies.com. Our 6 kids range from 8-18 years old. Asher does well with kids, our 5 year old Rottweiler and 7 chickens. Due to recent financial changes, as well as increased commitments outside of the house, we have found that we are unable to invest the time and energy he needs and deserves and would like to find him another family that can offer him that. He has a lot of energy and a lot of affection to give. He could be classified as a "velcro" dog. He is an agile dog, loves to run, jump and play. He is eager to please and responds to training with great eagerness. We have barely tapped the surface of his abilities. He has a tendency to be anxious/nervous. He does get carsick within a few minutes of a drive. He is a guard dog and barks at incomers/strangers.

Story
Meet Marti! Marti is a 5 year old, neutered, double merle, male, who came to us almost completely feral. He is a slightly pudgy 40 pounds, crate trained, house broke (but still leaks a little urine when sleeping although we haven't tried medication for that yet as it has been improving). As he is double merle he has some vision issues as well. Marti will need a very special owner that is willing to give him plenty of time to learn to trust. At his foster home Marti gets along with other dogs, is great with cats, and walks off leash in a rural setting. Marti is that lower energy aussie everyone's looking for and would like a quiet home. Marti will need more training in cooperative Care which his foster is working on and is easy to implement. The details: Needs Fence: Depends on setting (needs to gain trust to be leashed, fence necessary in busier area) Good With Dogs: Yes Good With People: Needs patience Good with cats: Yes All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $300 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives.
